You know you’re under the gun when the only break you take all day is long enough to eat a quick peanut butter and jelly sandwich. We’ve got seven days left to finish renovations and get the house ready for market, with June 3rd circled as the goal. Truthfully, we probably have two weeks worth of work left. Let’s see what we can pull off.

@thequeenofrust I’d rather chew on your pre-chewed aluminum foil than do that to even one window. My first house had wood windows (no exterior cladding). Ripped them out at 10 years of age and had Andersens installed.

@thequeenofrust You have to set daily goals if you don’t the malaise sets in but you already know that!!

@shuckey1 Our neighborhood here is the same. We’ve questioned every repair we’ve made thinking somebody could buy and have it torn down in a month. But we’re forging ahead with fresh everything, despite the possibility.

@thequeenofrust I don’t need to worry about that where I live as someone will buy it for $400,000 rip it down and put up a $1,500,000 house.

@hdcust883 Oh, for sure! I can’t imagine what it would’ve cost to hire somebody to do the same.
