@symmo1969 @the3million You vote for the country where you live, if the other country allows you to vote even if you live abroad, that's a matter for that other country, nothing to do with the UK

@the3million It's very messy, isn't it? But that's the problem with nation states & citizenship. I don't think dual citizenship should be a thing at all. It's weird that it's even possible.

@the3million I think it's best to apply for a British passport, with a British document and a registration to the Electoral Roll it's impossible to be denied the right to vote

People do have to register to vote again after they naturalise (even if they were previously registered to vote in local elections as EU citizens). In this case, Fabrizio did so. So why was he unjustly refused?

@symmo1969 @the3million If you have dual citizenship that's not the case, you are talking about one citizenship and in particular British citizenship. Dual nationality is regulated differently

@the3million I re-registered with my British passport, if you don't the Electoral Roll has your European Passport and it's not updating automatically, so it's important to contact them and tell them you have a British passport.
