The three guys that escaped Alcatraz and the fact that no one ever truly figured out what happened to them is the most interesting mystery to me in crime history.
There's very little evidence they died and overwhelming belief that not only did they survive but lived seemingly good and long lives far after the escape.

Or, hot take, most writers can’t do radio/podcasting because they’re too boring, have no personality and haven’t spent a minute being anyhow entertaining. There’s a reason you never see writers host shows.

Hot take: Most sports journalists get worse at analysis when they stop writing and go full podcast/video mode. And it makes sense why. Writing forces you to slow down and organize your thoughts. Writing is where you pressure-test your ideas. Podcasts let you just… say stuff.
