Either @MKhamenei_ir has been stripped of his powers by the IRGC (the actual power) working with @mb_ghalibaf OR Mujtaba is in power but decided to empower Ghalibaf/@drpezeshkian and restrain the IRGC. The 3rd explanation is that Iran is not capable of an all out war

JUST IN: A senior Iranian official has directly called for a ground assault on a U.S. military base in the region in response to Donald Trump's threat to take Kharg Island, urging Iranian forces to capture American soldiers and bring them to Iran.
During a state television appearance, Manouchehr Mottaki—Iran's former foreign minister and a current member of parliament—said:
"We will start a ground war if needed. Our fighters will take over American bases in the region by taking prisoners and confiscating their assets and military facilities."

Trump knows exactly what happened in Minab. We all do. The U.S. military killed 160 little girls. And yet he has the audacity to not only pretend the facts are unclear. He actually claims during this interview that the images of the dead children “may be AI”

@hasanahmadian MOU is dead. What are you even smoking. Either Iran has to start hitting Arab monarchs where it hurts the most..infra, oil and gas fields, power plants to force them to ask US to stop or Iran keeps getting pounded forever. Either Iran gets nukes or it becomes like Syria, Libya

The blockade will not be imposed; Iran's military effort will focus primarily on preventing it, and on inflicting heavy & unbearable costs that the US cannot bear should it insist on continuing—and that is a naval battle through and through.
The second dimension of Iran's war effort lies in striking weapons depots, including HIMARS rockets, drones, and fighter jets—a battle fought both in the air and on the ground.
The third dimension centers on compelling American strategic-military thinking to retreat, and to accept what Iran imposes across three fronts: the Strait of Hormuz, the blockade, and its military presence in the region—and that is a battle of perception, waged in the mind before the battlefield.
Iran’s objectives in this renewed conflict are to strike the targets that Washington has set for it, and thereby force the United States to back down and accept the terms laid out in the memorandum of understanding.

@TheCradleMedia Shame on Iranian leadership.. Pezeshkian, Ghalibaf, Araghchi. When cowards rule the country, this is a what happens. Iran just fires a few rockets at US based and thinks it's over. Total betrayal by politicians towards people of Iran

Seven Iranian Army personnel killed in US attack on Bampur
——
• Following the US military's attack on the Bampur garrison in Iranshahr, which killed seven military personnel, the Iranian Army Ground Force announced that a decisive response to the attack will be carried out at an appropriate time.
• The US military fired 13 missiles in the early hours of today, targeting barracks and accommodation facilities at one of the Iranian Army Ground Force's bases in Bampur.
• The attacking forces targeted the base's dormitories, guesthouse, and guard facilities in an attempt to inflict the highest possible number of casualties.
• Seven personnel of the 388th Iranshahr Brigade, including both career servicemen and conscripts, were killed in the attack, while several others were wounded and are receiving treatment.
• The Iranian Army stated that revenge for the blood of those killed is certain and imminent, adding that, together with the other branches of the armed forces, it will deliver a decisive response to the US attack.

@g_morkert Iran having nukes. Arab Monarchies will always go with the country who has highest power in the region. At this moment US and Israel have highest power as they have nukes and committed Genocide to create fear among Arab monarchs. But Iran having nukes completely changes everything
English

@Soureh_design2 IRGC is naive. Ordinary people in these countries dont give a damn. IRGC has to reciprocally hit infrastructure, oil and gas fields, power plants, electricity grids etc exactly in same way these Monarchies are hitting Iran. If IRGC cannot do these, then Iran will keep getting hit
English

@HWhuet @Safarnejad_IR Its cowardice and disgrace. If Arabs are using US bases to destroy Iran civilian infra and in return Iran just hits bases, its traitorship by Iran's leaders
English

@Safarnejad_IR I don't think this is a matter of morality anymore, when the infrastructure of the enemy is not equivalently targeted, especially when most of the Iranians demand firmer and stronger response.

✍️ United States targets water and electricity infrastructures and Iran retaliates against military bases
This equation won't deter US attacks on Iranian infrastructures.

.@SuellaBraverman, a Member of the UK Parliament, recently made a remarkably obnoxious and offensive claim – that Britain's former colonies owe the Empire for its "investment" and "development."
The claim is not only historically illiterate but morally indefensible. It reeks of a staggering ignorance about the exploitation, extraction, and suffering that accompanied colonial rule in India and elsewhere.
Here's my response to her historical amnesia – and a reminder that imperial arrogance is no substitute for historical truth. @NewIndianXpress

@Narjes_Rahmati It's not enough. Gulf countries are fully part of all out war. It makes no sense that Arab Monarchies can use US bases to hit civilian infrastructure, oil, gas fields, wheat factory in Iran but Iran just hits bases. Iran has to reciprocally hit same things in Gulf to bring peace

@Safarnejad_IR Heartiest congratulations to Ghalibaf, Pezeshkian, Araghchi on this achievement. Greatest ever diplomats to live.. The nation of Iran salutes you for greatest defence of homeland ever by signing MOU and sticking with it forever no matter what the enemy does.
English

@najam_ali @SonOfStockMan Nonsense. Arab Monarchs do have power to direct US to stop. Only when Iran starts large scale attacks on Oil and gas fields, infrastructure then Monarchs will beg US to stop as it directly hurts them badly. US will not be able to carry out attacks without full support of Arabs
English

@SonOfStockMan What is left at those bases? It is futile. No impact on the U.S.
English

Iran has won an important battle for international opinion. It should not throw that away.
It should avoid attacking its neighbours. It is unacceptable.
If military action is unavoidable, it should be directed only against those that are openly attacking it.
Expanding the conflict beyond the actual belligerents serves little strategic purpose, strengthens Israel’s narrative and risks turning sympathy into suspicion.
In such conflicts, moral legitimacy is a strategic asset. Iran should protect it as carefully as its military position.
