OTT subscriptions I'm paying for - Netflix - 6000 Jiohotstar - 1099 Amazon Prime - 1500 YouTube premium - 1500 SonyLiv - 1500 Zee5 - 1299 That's around 13k per year along with 18k in internet bills. And the worst part is that apart from YouTube premium I hardly use any of them but still keep paying them due to FOMO, what if they release a movie or web series that I need to watch right away. It's very tough to break this cycle. Cable TV and going to theatre to watch movie era was better, atleast paisa wasool toh hota tha.

The entire Kolkata Station had been overrun by ill€gal Bangladeshi immigrants... These individuals used to harass commuters relentlessly; their modus operandi had become a racket—sometimes extorting ₹50,000 by deliberately brushing against a passing car, and at other times extracting ₹10,000–15,000 by forcibly pushing their own children into the path of motorcyclists... If anyone dared to object, they would use the women of their households to level false accusations of rape or molestation, thereby extorting sums ranging from two to four lakhs... The molestation of young girls passing through the station had become a routine occurrence. However, the lightning speed with which these predators have been purged from Kolkata Station over the last 36 hours is truly remarkable... Back in 2013, a so called standup comedian had uploaded a video on Facebook, and I commented, ‘You’re unfunny, I couldn’t even begin to laugh.’ Ironically, that comment got more likes than the original video itself.
