I've been looking at the smart contract for A Fundamental Dispute, an on-chain art project released by @generativelight and @frolic yesterday. Here are some interesting findings that I would like to share. (Full disclosure, I currently hold one)

The dispute mechanic adds a cool layer on top of the project, where collectors will be able to take the gamble on getting a new output that they prefer over their current one. It will be interesting to follow when and how this will be opened up by @generativelight and @frolic!

But what does it mean to re-roll a seed? It means that the image of your piece will change, essentially like minting a new NFT from the collection to replace the one you hold. Your piece could go from looking like the example on the left, to the one on the right:
