Their longevity gets pinned on the rice. Meanwhile they're eating fish at almost every meal, drowning their vegetables in fish stock, cracking eggs into breakfast, and treating beef like a luxury good worth saving up for. The fish is the meal. The rice is there to mop up the dashi. Acknowledging any of this would mean admitting that the longest-lived population on Earth eats half its protein from animals. And that conclusion doesn't fit the pamphlet. So they point at the rice. Hope nobody asks what's on top of it.

@realmrolympian Thaedus had no way of knowing that unfortunately and dropped the Scourge Virus on them. Ultimately, viltrumites are fiercely loyal to their leader but were led astray. They CAN become a force for good, which was exactly how Mark reshaped the viltrum empire into by EoS.

People said those Viltrumite kids would one day become killers so they did not feel sad for them during the Scourge Virus. Watch until you see how good a baby Viltrumite can become if they are treated right in future seasons of Invincible

@Fenrirtheicewo1 Oliver was already older by 3 - 4 years than Thragg's eldest children. He already looked like a regular human male at the 3rd and 4th panels which was just before the 5 year time skip. By age 8 - 9 Oliver looked indistinguishable from an adult male viltrumite.

They're weaker than Oliver... that's why they lost.

@celestialysia0 He definitely would have. That scene with Ursaal proved that it was possible for him to feel affection. Unfortunately, he isolated himself on the moon and therefore never interacted with humans.

@ani_meme25 He speedran through his childhood and was practically an adult viltrumite by age 8 when his viltrumite genes overrode everything Thraxan about him. He probably lost a few decades but still would have lived for thousands of years if he didn't get murked.

We all know Viltrumites can live for thousands of years but Oliver isn't a full Viltrumite, His mother was a Thraxan, and Thraxans have an extremely short lifespan So the question is does that same Thraxan DNA put a limit on how long Oliver can actually live? Can he reach that full Viltrumite thousand year lifespan, or will his Thraxan side cut it short? Please genuine answer anyone?
