I made a similar observation for Dhurandar 1, where the daughter of a major Pakistani politician (based loosely on Nabil Gabol) marries the protagonist, a Lyari gangster. Rather than studying at some Pakistani college, a real life PPP leader’s daughter would, after her A Levels or KAS education, be off studying at some B tier uni in London, trying to catch Kareena Kapoor near her Mayfair apartment. The cultural and class gap is so huge that this Lyari gangster could go attain an education, start speaking Grammarian English, make a ton of money and buy a house in DHA or NHS, and she would still consider the very idea of marrying him as gross.
