@oocezi @ppy @VeltairD Skin elements in lazer are already deduplicated, i.e. if you import 2 skins containing the same exact file (decided by hash), that file will only be stored once.

At this point the only thing stopping me from maining osu lazer is not being able to skin all the way through. I would like to edit the circles and such… Looking forward to all the skins we will see in Lazer.

@leftpaddotpy @porglezomp @eean The linked project is quite incomplete and not very faithful. Mesosphere is a complete, bug-for-bug compatible reimplementation of the latest version and gives a much better picture of the design decisions that driven the development. It may be found here: github.com/Atmosphere-NX/…

somebody should invent an OS that's cool and good, instead of a bunch of unix clones that run separated apps. gimme a weirdo event database or something

@ppy @Bl4ckBl1zZ Have you considered adding a graph for "peak spectators on single user"? Probably not important data for infra monitoring, but may be interesting for correlating events.

this graph has been flat for months… maybe even years. only takes one flavoured ice cream to stir things up!

Today, a great member of the emulation community, Near, has been effectively murdered at the hands of the horrible people of KF. We can't let this happen again, online harassment to this degree cannot be tolerated. #JusticeForNear

@soft_fox_lad @aionescu yeah, that's why I think it's most likely just random variance. though it's pretty hard to tell what exactly the MSR is supposed to do regardless.

Crash a Ryzen system in single line of tweetable PowerShell: (Get-NtFile \Device\NTPNP_PCI0031).DeviceIoControl(0x9C402400, 5, 5) Hey, AMD, If you're gonna twiddle magic MSR bits that control the instruction cache when playing certain video games, can you at least code properly

3) But even better, it has a security descriptor allowing Everyone + Low IL R/W Access, and an IOCTL interface with absolutely no Probes/SEH, which yes, dereferences wild pointers. They don't even bother checking for input size or output sizes.

@aionescu I ran a couple of tests with AIDA64 masquerading as Factorio, and noticed a weird 2ns difference in RAM latency, but it's small enough I would be willing to call it test variance. Needs more testing for sure (especially on different cpus/platforms).
