i love that she spoke up about people complaining, because she’s so right they want a clear ending, but if a missile is targeted at you, you don’t hear it, you feel the impact. that’s why this ending works, it makes you (or at least should) understand that this might be our reality

It has changed my life in countless ways but I'll point out two main examples. 1. I met @EMostaque who provided me compute for my PhD research and eventually recruited me to join Stability AI, which was my first industry/startup experience. It was a huge learning experience, and honestly prior to joining Stability AI I hadn't really considered industry/startup as a serious career option. 2. I met my co-founder @humanscotti. We started collabing on what eventually became MindEye. We grew MedARC together, he joined me at Stability AI, and formed Sophont together.

@chyrosran22 @YouTube Thanks for the switch teardown videos. I learned a lot from watching these. Where can I find more information on PCB designs and open source firmware that take full advantage of these switches?

Would anyone be interested in pre-alpha testing some @EffectTS_ lessons? This would involve me screen-sharing with, ideally, a few 𝚎𝚏𝚏𝚎𝚌𝚝 novitiates, and attempting to teach them some aspects of the library. First up is likely something on 𝙲𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚡𝚝 and 𝙻𝚊𝚢𝚎𝚛.

Years back, I had my testosterone checked. Total was 325. I was told my total testosterone was looking great. This was when I didn’t know much about male hormones. I later realized it was a misdraw since the sample was taken at 2:30pm. Luckily, I stumbled upon a doctor who had worked for a male clinic for a decade, and he caught this.

Just had a chat with a family GP Dr about TRT and the standard monitoring that comes with it Said 90-150mg test is unusual Hcg to preserve fertility and testicular size is unusual Monitoring free testosterone is unusual It’s shocking how much difference you in education medical professionals have, especially based on experience She asked me if I had a special interest/training in male hormones and I told her no, this is just stuff i know from some BASIC reading She had absolutely no clue what I was talking about

Oats Oats contain phytic acid. They do not contain phytase to break it down. If you add something high in phytase during soaking, then most of it can be broken down. For one cup of oats + one cup of water: - 1 tsp of buckwheat flour (~90% reduction) - 1 tbsp of lemon juice or vinegar (~40-60% reduction) - Soaking in water (~15-30% reduction) You will get another 5-10% reduction with cooking, so if you combine a soak with buckwheat flour then you should get rid of most of it.

Many people avoid certain foods due to anti-nutrients. This is unfortunate, because they can be easy to mitigate if you know how. Here is how to mitigate anti-nutrients in many common foods 🧵

Using @GroqInc to optimize a complex @DSPyOSS program using the new GEPA optimizer makes the budget_mode setting `heavy` possible (and a life saver). The prompts are significantly more rich than the MiPROv2 optimizations. Quite impressive to see.
