think L2s have overcorrected to be underrated atm especially if you have a neutral base layer like Bitcoin or Ethereum, they make a lot of sense if you don't care to play politics or incentive games them not scaling well is mostly a skill issue that's easily fixable

@dkdjfncnj @StarkWareLtd @Starknet @StarknetEs @StarknetFndn @StarknetWPL @LiorGoldberg2 @StarknetAfrica @starkience True, every protocol, scalability solution (L2s), L1s, etc, will try to juggle things to achieve it. In the end, privacy and anonymity are basic human rights, and we must achieve them. Any initiative in that direction should be considered crucial for our evolution as human beings

1/ The STRK20s Technical Paper is now live. It outlines the design, architecture, and core ideas behind STRK20s, a privacy capability for any ERC-20. If you’re bullish on privacy as crypto’s next major unlock, this paper is for you 🧵

today every token is transparent. with STRK20 any ERC20 on Starknet can have private balances and transfers. that means privacy is no longer a niche feature for special tokens, it becomes a capability of the whole token ecosystem. historically privacy systems create separate assets or pools. that splits liquidity and kills DeFi usability. here the same token moves between public and private states. USDC stays USDC, ETH stays ETH. liquidity remains unified. users can keep balances private while still using DeFi through atomic flows. that means you can trade, swap or stake without exposing your portfolio or history. this is the bridge between privacy and composable DeFi.
