Reading Terry Durack in SMH extolling Sunday roast reminded me that in our kids' teen years we settled on the Monday roast. Weekends we all went different directions so on Monday we settled for a roast and proper vegs (often with freeloaders). Two of us still have a Monday roast.

Maybe now racist dogwhistling will become a tactic of the past. Maybe now trump and Rita Kindhart will be ignored. Maybe now Murdoch’s influence is dead. Congratulations Australia.
