Yes, a wild new story is circulating about the Pyramids of Giza!: the enormous vertical cylindrical structures found 648 meters below the Giza Pyramid. The entire underground system reportedly stretches about 2 kilometers beneath all three Egyptian pyramids. A group of researchers, including Corrado Malanga from the University of Pisa and Filippo Biondi from the University of Strathclyde, used advanced radar technology called Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) to study the Great Pyramid of Giza. Their study, published in 2022, revealed hidden structures inside the pyramid that weren’t visible with traditional methods. arxiv.org/abs/2208.00811 Biondi also developed special software that converts radar signals into sound-like data, helping to detect tiny vibrations. This technology allowed them to uncover underground structures that had never been seen before. Recently, they used this same technology to explore the Khafre Pyramid — the second-largest pyramid at Giza. A press release on March 15, 2025 explained that the team created a 3D model of the inside of the pyramid and the area beneath it. They found five identical structures connected by geometric pathways near the base of the pyramid. Each structure has five horizontal levels and a sloped roof. Below these are eight vertical, hollow, cylindrical structures, like wells, arranged in two parallel rows. These wells spiral downward to a depth of 648 meters, ending in two large cube-shaped structures, each about 80 meters wide. The entire underground system stretches about 2 kilometers beneath all three pyramids at Giza. Traditional Egyptology teaches that the pyramids were built as tombs for the pharaohs using ramps and levers around 2500 BC. However, the complex mathematical patterns found in the pyramids — including references to Pi, the golden ratio, and even the speed of light — suggest the official story might not explain everything. Some researchers believe the pyramids served a more advanced, possibly technological purpose. For example, Nikola Tesla once suggested that the pyramids might harness the Earth's natural energy. Christopher Dunn proposed that the Great Pyramid functioned as a power plant, turning vibrations into electricity. Joseph Farrell even theorized that it might have been a powerful weapon, focusing energy using an ancient type of physics. The newly discovered cylindrical wells could act as channels for energy or sound waves, while the cube structures might store or stabilize this energy — similar to a large power generator or even a weapon. The research team wants to excavate the area to learn more, but getting permission for such a project is historically very difficult.
