The Suited Monk

Twenty years ago, I started teaching a new model for living in China. There's who you really are (your inner Monk), and there's how you're showing up (through your Suit). The space between those two is your Gap, and that is the cause of many of the problems in life, such as depression, stress, anxiety, etc... This model shows you how to bridge the gap and live an integrated life. It helps individuals, organisations and global communities. The teaching goes beyond culture, beliefs and borders and applies to every individual on earth; it's universal. We’ve now launched Project Peace to bring this work to the world. Humans will go back to faith. When AI and Robotics take over, when trust in the government is at an all-time low. When depression is at an all-time high, where do you go? You go searching for something; some call it meaning, but meaning may be dismissed easily. Many will go back to faith. Faith is not religious. It is the belief in something higher and translucent. Something you cannot grasp, but you know it's there. Some people try to label it, but the label does no justice to what It is. When you are close to faith, you are close to home. When you are far away from faith, you suffer more. The mind cannot understand that. Because faith is not destined for the mind; it is destined for the heart. In the Suited Monk Philosophy, faith nurtures your Monk. How you live in the world, you do it through your Suit. When your Suit and Monk are not aligned, you create a gap inside yourself. And that gap makes you suffer. Bridge the gap and you are at peace. People are looking to make money to survive; that era is ending. The end of consumerism without meaning. The words Ethics and Faith are often disguised as marketing tools to make people believe again. Look at a new elected leader: trust is high, faith is high, only to be disappointed one year later. True faith is not external; it is internal. The future of humanity will be built around individual resilience. If you don't build internal resilience, you will be dependent. Dependency creates stress. Build internal resilience. Build internal faith. Then live in the world through your Suit as a rich man.

Life is all about alignment, not grinding

Rubbish. This is motivational talk. Inner peace is the alignment within oneself. When your external and internal world become one. When the separation or gap with yourself is bridged inner peace emerges. In the Suited Monk Philosophy we do in 3 ways : 1. Clean the old wounds within your gap 2. Expand your inner Monk 3. Express your inner Monk in the real world through the Suit you wear. Most people just talk about number 3 and forget 1 and 2. That's they never achieve true inner peace.

Even money is given for free, I doubt many people will use it responsibly. Curious to see how this is going to play out... People need a mindset shift on how to live life. The old rules don't apply anymore, get a job will soon be outdated. But what is the new way will be the question to ask and the world doesn't seem to have a clear answer. I foresee uproar the first few years before we settle into a new way of living that is more value based from the inside out. Let's see.

Persistence in alignment with the flow of life. Persistence alone can create pressure. Each action needs a pause. If you just focus on persistence, you may become successful, but at what expense?? It's almost like ''if you don't grind in life, you won't make it''. At some points in life, you need to grind, but at some points, you just need to pause and let life take its own course. Persistence alone is old school. Persistence aligned with rejuvenation is the right way of living. Align your Suit with your Monk and live an integrated life.

Elon's innovations feel like oxygen for people... every time he innovates, he removes the hassle and makes everything straightforward. On the contrary, I tried closing a bank account in Spain today. They told me I had to go visit them in person. Told them I'm not going to take a 20-hour flight for that. Blocked. Those kinds of old school things you don't see on anything Elon brings to the market...

Isn't Suicidal Empathy basically a gap that each individual on earth has within him/herself? And that gap drives their behaviour. If and when a person is aligned with their inner essence and eliminates their own individual gap, the world could live in harmony, theoretically. Isn't that the work we should be doing? I call it bridging the gap between your inner and outer self, so there is no longer a misalignment. When an individual bridges his/her gap, the natural outcome will be to do good for themselves, people and society. This brings it back to a neutral conversation and education. Everyone has a Suit, a Monk and a Gap; it's a universal principle. Bringing all three in alignment brings coherence to an individual. Do this to all individuals, and many problems in the world can be solved, including Suicidal Empathy.

I'm further developing Suited Monk to be rolled out globally. Hopefully, the teaching can stand on its own. I always believe a teaching should be universal, which applies beyond culture, beyond borders and beyond beliefs. And it's really simple. Everyone in the world has a Suit, a Monk and a Gap. It's irrefutable. The issue or the part that causes conflict is the gap. When a person is very disconnected from themselves, he/she will look mostly externally for validation, approval, a sense of achievement, and material things to cover up the emptiness the person feels inside. This happens in all walks of life, in leadership, in politics, in different cultures and societies. Because of this gap, people behave unethically, they self-destruct with addictions or just walk brain-dead through life. The solution to these issues is to bridge the gap within yourself. And with the right framework, it is not complicated. 1. Emotional healing and self-acceptance 2. Mindset mastery, observe your thoughts, observe reality instead of being unconsciously in it, think critically and make your own decisions 3. Physical mastery 4. Spiritual mastery, be clear on what you value and act on it. Learn to trust your intuition when making decisions. Bridging the gap, if you actively pursue it, you can do it in 2 years. Why this time? Because it takes time to heal, to implement and to let life take its own course. It's like you need to apply the tools and then be patient and let life reorient itself around your new reality. If an outcome is mathematically and theoretically possible, but practically almost impossible, should we still pursue it? The answer is almost always yes.

World hunger is not the issue. World hunger is an outcome of the issue. And the issue is that people globally are disconnected from themselves. They have a gap between how they show up in the world and who they are on the inside. That gap creates anxiety and unhappiness in a person. If every person on earth bridges the gap within themselves, they would do good for themselves, people and society. World hunger would be solved naturally because of this.

Vous voyez le problème ? Ils n'ont jamais pu répondre à la vraie question. Parce que la réponse n'existe pas. Le don ne résout rien : il nourrit douze mois, et la faim revient en janvier. C'est un abonnement, pas une solution. Beasley demandait un robinet permanent et l'appelait "charité". La charité moderne, c'est ça : un puits sans fond déguisé en vertu. Elle ne touche jamais les causes profondes — la gouvernance, les institutions, la corruption, l'absence de marchés — parce que toucher les causes profondes tuerait l'industrie. Une ONG qui résout son problème se suicide. Son incitation, c'est que le problème dure. Et l'argent ? Il ne va presque jamais à ceux qui sont censés le recevoir. Il s'évapore en couches de logistique, de salaires d'ONG, d'overhead, de "renforcement des capacités", de conférences à Genève. Vous donnez 100, le bénéficiaire en voit une fraction. Le reste fait vivre la classe professionnelle de la compassion. Et puis il y a l'aile "intellectuelle" du truc : l'effective altruism. La version QI 145 du virtue signaling. Calculer froidement le bien marginal par dollar, "earn to give", sauver le futur. Le poster boy du mouvement s'appelait Sam Bankman-Fried. Il a détourné des milliards de clients en expliquant que c'était pour le bien de l'humanité. 25 ans de prison. Toute la ramification autour — fondations, think tanks, gourous de la moralité quantifiée — a découvert que l'altruisme optimisé est l'alibi parfait pour la fraude. Quand tu te crois en mission cosmique, voler devient un détail comptable. Maintenant, le retournement. Devinez la SEULE forme de charité avec des preuves dures, des RCT propres, qui marche vraiment ? Donner du cash. Brut. Random. À un village. Sans condition, sans plan, sans ONG qui t'explique comment vivre. Étude Egger et al., Econometrica 2022 : 1 000 $ donnés à 10 500 ménages dans 653 villages au Kenya. Résultat : pour chaque dollar injecté, ~2,5 dollars d'activité économique locale. Quasi zéro inflation. Les gens achètent, les commerçants embauchent, le grain circule, le meunier rouvre plus tard. ~80 % de l'argent reste dans le marché local. Et c'est là l'ironie totale, presque cruelle : le seul "acte de charité" qui fonctionne fonctionne parce que ce n'est PAS de la charité. C'est juste… du capital qu'on laisse couler dans une économie. Vous n'aidez pas les gens en leur donnant un plan. Vous les aidez en amorçant la pompe et en les laissant être des agents économiques. La charité qui marche, c'est juste du capitalisme déclenché de force. Donc voilà ma règle. Méfiez-vous de quiconque achète votre estime avec un don public. Le chèque visible n'est pas une preuve de vertu, c'est une transaction : de la sympathie contre de l'argent, payée par les pauvres qui restent pauvres pour que le donateur reste admiré. La vraie philanthropie ne pose pas pour la photo. Elle construit des produits, des entreprises, des emplois, des marchés. Elle amorce la pompe et s'en va. Le reste, c'est de la cocaïne pour riches sans créativité.

There two kinds of knowing. Rational knowing and spiritual knowing. God masters both. They are integrated as one. For us humans they are still separated. We focus on the rational forgot about our internal journey. The journey towards peace is re aligning with our inner self but still live in the real world. In my words align your Suit and your Monk and bridge the gap in between.

⚡️Knowledge is not the same as encounter. An all-knowing ground can contain every truth in principle and still express itself through finite life to meet those truths from the inside. Fear as a body. Love as risk. Faith without proof. Loss without escape. Courage under a clock. The point of limitation is not information. It is contact.

@elonmusk Individuals need to return back to source, their inner energy. When people focus on the external, they lose themselves. Standing up is a temporary solution; bridging the gap within oneself is the long-term way forward.

What Aristotle is basically saying is that when an individual disconnects from their inner essence, they create a gap within themselves. That gap is what causes people to make decisions that are no longer ethical or based on virtues. When people lose their inner essence, it is a recipe for disaster. Suffering, pain, loneliness, which people then try to cover up with external pleasures. Human beings can live together in harmony when every individual on earth closes the gap within themselves. A regime, or politeia, endures when it serves the common good rather than faction. Lee took a vulnerable, divided entrepôt and deliberately constructed a modern polis. He rejected ethnic clientelism, imposed equal rules under law, rewarded merit, and built habits of discipline and cohesion so citizens of every background could pursue security and rising prosperity together. He treated nationhood as a fragile achievement that required constant defense against stasis. Aristotle warned that when a politeia no longer aims at eudaimonia for the whole but instead manages competing interests and erodes the civic ethos, it decays into factional strife and eventual collapse. And Lee showed what deliberate counter measures look like in practice. America today is moving toward the condition Aristotle feared and Lee refused to accept. Identity based claims increasingly displace equal rules, merit yields to group outcome, and trust in shared institutions frays. Without a conscious recovery of the principles that once sustained our own politeia, namely justice applied without favor, habits of self-government, and a civic ethos oriented toward the flourishing of citizens as one people rather than rival tribes, America risks the very stasis and hollowing that have undone polities throughout history.

If it happens, that would be very beneficial for individuals and the world. Instead of having AI centralised by tech companies, individuals (aka entrepreneurs/innovators in any part of the world) can use their talent to create solutions/innovate without boundaries or limitations.

If anything will burst the AI bubble, this could be it. I believe the future is in open source locally-run AI models, but I didn’t expect them to be almost at par with frontier models. This is bad news for Anthropic and OpenAI.
