In China 50% cars are already electric. Does Trump have guts to shoot a Chinese ship carrying oil ? No. Because in geo-politics only power is respected. India is a 5000 year old civilisation. Mughals ruled us for 350 years and the Britishers looted us for 200 years. A country of 140 crore population depends so much on energy imports that Trump is able to dictate India from where to import oil ? If we import from Russia we are threatened with 100% tariffs. So the choice is do we want to permanently become a slave of some other major power or we plan to reduce our energy dependency by slowly introducing ethanol. This will slowly reduce our import bill and strengthen the fiscal maths. Yes there is a short term pain for our honest tax paying citizens but long term we will be free of the import dependency which tends make us a slave of foreign powers. #Ethanol
