So, I know this is from Chapter 1, but I’m still very proud of this one. I don’t care what anyone has to say. I made plans to incorporate more hatching, and play more with complex lighting, on this project and this was the first page where I really got to go for it.

Today I want to shine a light on one of the most underrated artists in the business- DAVE JOHNSON. Dave is a designer first and foremost and his line work and expressions are storytelling genius. I try to get him to do something on every project I have- and have been lucky enough to collaborate with him over the years , the latest gig being POP KILL. Couple of new portfolio pages since I haven’t done any comics work in a bit. Leaning into the darker, nuclear/gamma horror , military thriller aspects of my favourite Marvel character.
