The Crab Bay Puffin Hide is pretty special this year. We have three pairs currently incubating behind the one-way glass, offering magical views of egg turning, nest tidying, incubation changeovers and sleeping Puffins.

Still buzzing from our epic encounter with #Orcas this week. Here's bull '34' from the Northern Isles Community '27s' pod ploughing through Atlantic swells off the west Mainland of Shetland on Friday. 🖤🤍

ORCAS... The icing on the cake of what has been an incredible week. This afternoon we followed the '64s' Orcas from land for a couple of hours as they hunted in Bressay Sound, Shetland. Amazing views with belly rolls, spy hops and tail lobs. 🖤🤍

Wonderful to film these Harbour Porpoise (known here in Shetland as 'Neesicks') in glass-calm conditions off the east coast this week before #StormEowyn arrived. It's not very often you get to see their subtle 'puffy' blows as they surface. @whalesorg @Seasaver @mcsuk @SeaWatchersUK @NatureScot @Mammal_Society @kazcustard @NLFerries @marcrileydj @Britnatureguide @ShetlandWild

About 200 huge footprints, which were made 166 million years ago, criss-cross the limestone floor in Oxfordshire. They record the comings and goings of a long-necked sauropod called Cetiosaurus and the smaller meat-eating Megalosaurus. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
