@numberslka I'm not against innovation . My self I'm a student who got my a/l results few days ago. I'm from the 2022 A/l batch. What I'm saying is, they should have informed us about this when we were starting a/l back in 2020.

📚 At Moratuwa, they do things differently.
⭕ While other engineering faculties in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 let students choose their specialization after a 1-year general course, Moratuwa used to do it in just one semester.
⭕ Now, they're innovating again by letting students select their focus based on their Z-score before even starting university life. 🤷

Welikada police beats to death a woman suspect. She had been arrested on a complaint by Ms. Nethicumara, of the Salaka Group that her gold chain was stolen by a domestic helper. The killing comes despite IGP’s recent assurance to SC that there won’t be any more custodial deaths.

Sri Lankan Inventors in a Nutshell: Get a knackered engine, a set of tuk-tuk wheels, weld it together with box bars and sheet metal, and bada bing bada boom, the next Henry Ford of Sri Lanka.
It's not exactly something to be proud of. In fact, it's quite dreadful. And to make matters worse, these inventors often complain about not getting government funding or enough investors. Maybe it's time for them to think outside the box and come up with something truly innovative. #lka

My jaws keep dropping as I go through 70 PhD applicant files. People w/ 2 coauthored papers & an interesting solo writing sample don’t even make it to the top 10 in my pile. The level of knowledge, research experience & passion these kids bring to the table is just remarkable! 🤩
