The best live music performances of my life were the Oils in the 80s. When my wife told me last night that Rob had died, I shed a few tears - how art underpins life. Vale Rob.❤️

After fighting heroically for almost three years, Rob is now free of pain - ‘a glimmer of tiny light in the wilderness’. He died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. The family asks that anyone wanting to honour Rob donate to @Pankind_Aus or @SupportAct.

Starlink’s giant latency advantage is the real killer. Current Starlink satellites at ~550km are ~65 times closer than geosynchronous satellites. Our next generation satellites will be at ~350km, so >100 times closer.

Dutton’s reactors (if ever built) won’t turn off in the middle of the day, and will need a minimum load to dump into. So the only thing to do will be to command your rooftop solar, your home battery and EV stop producing energy (under dynamic operating envelopes)
