Lying at the Despatch Box used to be a resigning offence. Now it is just par for the course on the JohnsonTrussSunak side of the fence
Full Fact@FullFact

At #PMQs today, Rishi Sunak said “this week we’re cutting taxes by £900 for everyone in work”. This isn’t correct, for at least two reasons. (1/5)

@PolitlcsUK @theipaper Here,s an idea... do your job, the one the taxpayer gives you money for. If you're not happy, leave ! You will find it much tougher in the private sector.

@JohnJCrace Which ever party is in, as Labour are weaker, we need a policy similar to US, Australia & NZ. No visa. No permit . Nect flight home. No questions asked.

Er… Rwanda can’t be that much of a deterrent if you can pay someone £3K to go there voluntarily

Watching the Tories responsible for rendering the Tories (almost certainly) unelectable trying to distance themselves from the party they have reshaped in their own ridiculous image is quite the spectator sport.
Adam Payne@adampayne26

Ben Bradley, the Tory candidate for the East Midlands mayoralty, says the quiet bit out loud: He is trying to separate his campaign from the wider Tory party because the latter is “clearly not a brilliant national picture" Story @zoenora6 politicshome.com/news/article/t…

@PaulKirkby3 Absolutely. It seems in this once great Country the only voices that matter are those of the Woke, Green & extremist persuation. No one else is allowed an opinion.

@campbellclaret The ECHR tries to block Rwanda on grounds it is unsafe. Germany and others are considering exactly the same solution. A thought lets get the UK declared unsafe, which shouldnt be difficult, then no one would be allowed to come here and we wouldn't need to send anyone to Rwanda.

As someone who can state that London is my city of birth, a place I spent much of my working career and occasionally lived, I find it deeply embarrassing that my city London is labeled most antisemitic city in Europe. Let me be frank I blame the Mayor of London, the MET Police for this, and the Labour Party for making such attitudes almost acceptable in modern Britain. Shameful doesn’t come close to describing it.

@PaulKirkby3 Lets not forget the Palestinian people chose HAMAS a terrorist organisation to run their Country. We are right to be cautious. Where are the Palestinian voices denouncing HAMAS and their actions.

@DavidHill65 @campbellclaret There is no body in ANY political party capable of being PM these days. Most MPs are also a disgrace & not fit for the job. They are self serving and completely out of touch with real people and real life

Everything Sunak or the team headed by his best man pal and the losing touch Aussie do tends to be very bad politics. Anyone who thinks Johnson is popular in the red wall (agreed - ugh) has not been there recently. The lies and the parties did for him. The privileges report and the C4 series have killed the corpse of his career. I for one would love it if he tried to use Sunak election campaign as a rehabilitation exercise. It will damage them both.
Mikey Smith@mikeysmith

The idea of Boris Johnson campaigning in person in the “red wall” (ugh) seems like a decent idea until he knocks on a door, inevitably with an ITV camera nearby, and the guy inside the house says “You had a party the day my mum died.”
