Just had a core memory unlocked and had to look up the old videos on YouTube with the Teen Titans and Pokemon cast talking about voice acting. I used to watch those videos over and over again, and try to mimic the actors too 😂 Clearly, that has stuck with me for a long time 🥹

I was never closely involved with Gabe, but he was one of the main inspirations that finally got me take a leap of faith into being a VA. Seeing all of this come out is incredibly disappointing and heartbreaking, and I can't imagine - 1/2

A very neat detail about acting is that, at its core (and at the risk of sounding like a pretentious theatre person), it’s a discipline of truth. We “pretend” to be characters, sure, but those characters’ experiences are their reality—they simply use our bodies as a conduit.
