If Thomas Tuchel selected players based on their contribution during the qualifiers, then why was Kobbie Mainoo included? He was largely out of the picture for most of the campaign and has only shown top form for a few months. He has been playing in a chaotic Manchester United side with no clear playing style apart from counter-attacks and long balls to Bruno Fernandes. Cole Palmer deserved a place in the World Cup squad. Players like Marcus Rashford have spent most of the season on the bench at FC Barcelona, while Anthony Gordon has struggled with injuries recently. Even Bukayo Saka has not done enough for England lately to justify being selected ahead of Palmer. At this point, I just hope the R16 is the furthest England go in the World Cup.

A China Eastern pilot used the A350's thrust reverser to reverse the aircraft on the bay as it hit the jet bridge. Using the thrust reverser of an A350 to reverse the aircraft would be the first time I have seen this. 2 May 2026, Shanghai Airport. Why did he use the thrust reverser twice? Why not just set the brake after the first time?

🚨Mason Mount on shushing Chelsea fans: I gave everything for the club and the fans. I helped them win the UCL and played in two finals. I left the club three years ago, but people still act like I did something wrong when I left. It was a mutual decision. I expected better from them.
