Esto impulsa tanto el mercado inmobiliario que esto hace inasequible la vivienda para la mayoría de las nuevas familias. En cuanto al alquiler, sobrepujan las casas al contado, las dividen en habitaciones pequeñas y alquilan cada una por no menos de $1,000/mes a la población hispana migrante. – Explotan a la población hispana inmigrante: sin ella, estas comunidades judías no podrían sobrevivir. No trabajan con sus manos: todos sus fontaneros, electricistas, carpinteros, en fin, la mano de obra que construye sus comunidades son en su mayoría hispanos pobres, migrantes (muchos indocumentados). – Tienen sus propias comunidades cerradas, con sus propios tribunales religiosos, ambulancias, servicios de emergencia médica, detectives y cuasi-policía. Si no eres judío, no eres bienvenido. Estas comunidades están gobernadas con mano de hierro por los rabinos, quienes son reverenciados e incuestionados en estas comunidades ortodoxas. – Son innumerables los casos de abuso sexual, fraude a nivel masivo, maltrato doméstico, maltrato infantil, y todo tipo de consumo de drogas ilícitas. Sin embargo, según su ley judía (Halajá), es un pecado grave denunciar un judío a autoridades no judías: eres excomulgado de estas comunidades si lo haces.
