Extremely rare Master Duel screen hitting Exodia and 0 Life Points simultaneously! Dude literally won and lost the duel at the same time!! I literally didn't even know this was possible. 🤯

@vamperhax @TeamAPS Exodia does not prevent anything. Exodia simply checks after the chain link has resolved. But the chain link is not abke to fully resolve and end since the player lost the duel during its resolution

@vamperhax @TeamAPS 1. Popper Up activates discarding cards and building the chain link 2. Cards will be drawn. Exodia cannot apply yet because special wincons only apply after a chain link has resolved 3.The player fails to special summon taking damage and LP falling to 0. The game immediately ends

@vamperhax @TeamAPS What you just said makes absolutely no sense, but I'm done arguing. It works differently in Master Duel as it would in the real life TCG because they programmed it in that way

@vamperhax @TeamAPS The chain link is exactly why this ruling is important. The chain link has to resolve fully for Exodia to check for its own win condition

@vamperhax @TeamAPS Also, the 0LP wincon does not case if the chain link is over or not. That will happen even before something has resolved. Exodia will wait until the chain link has resolved. Same reason why you cannot win if you have 2 pieces in hand, activate graceful charity and draw the others
