@tnysl I’ve heard that about cs/val but it comes down to each game’s netcode. I feel like rivals does not “reward” high ping players at all; the opposite, I get shot when I shouldn’t be getting shot, and lots of different actions get invalidated by the server.

@superstr8__ yeah it’s true, it’s more popular in tac fps games like cs and valorant. Heroes that you need combos for aren’t better though, I can’t really play psy on 100ms because it feels pretty delayed

@tnysl @OurLight___ Is that really true, though? Due to my location, my ping is at least 100ms on my nearest region, and there’s a noticeable delay in hits, and also a few instances of grabs (e.g Emma, Wolv, Rogue) being randomly invalidated despite hearing the corresponding sound cue.

After playing the new patch, i'll say that it really exposed a lot of players of being bad 👀
Since ults are not that frequent, they can't boost their score/Stats and final hits with them, showing they were only farming ults and pressing Q instead of actually being good

People drawing comparisons like this to sexism/politics are genuinely insane.
The characters are just annoying to deal with and have access to very easy tools to deal with problems in their games (dive) but they refuse to get good at using them.
The devs then have to compensate for their lack of skill through buffs, further reducing their skill floor leading to favored matchups against characters that are supposed to counter them lol.
This is why people have an "inherent hatred" towards the support role, it's quite literally because they whine and get what they want, it has nothing to do with fucking sexism, that is an INSANE line of thinking.
