@michigain1310 @ctkevb He says that here only to avoid getting fined. He’s being snarky, as he absolutely loathes James Breeding - it’s well documented, he got T’d twice and lost 4 of the 6 games Breeding officiated THIS SEASON

@matthewwinick You clearly didn’t watch the same game as everyone else

I'm sorry, but if you are feeling this way about this game, you DO NOT know ball.
The refs have been tremendous in this game, and the foul discrepancy is ENTIRELY scheme and personnel related.
Dan Orlovsky@danorlovsky7
The fouls are like 15-5 right now. It’s impossible to be this 1-sided call wise. The officiating is very poor.
English

@EvanMiya LOL not a chance! This game was very even until the refs gave every advantage to Michigan
English

@ESPNInsights 25 points off free throws. Was not a fair fight
English

@JayhawkTakeover Not sure what the context of that quote is (makes no sense) but we play to win. If you don’t win the natty, we’re not celebrating being runner up - You’re either the champ, or you’re not.
So yeah, we came up empty.

@alexinman True, but also just use your eyes 👀 they don’t lie

This might be a good time to remind everyone that Michigan was #42 in the country in fewest fouls per game. UConn was #243.
Say it with me: some teams foul more than others.
Roger Ayers Ref Tracker@AyersRefTracker
Maybe, just maybe, UConn is fouling more and that’s why they’ve been called for more fouls?
English

@BFW Fouls were out of whack in the first half for who exactly? They got whistled just for touching a Michigan player
English

@RGIII You forgot to mention Michigan’s 25 points off free throws from phantom fouls. I watched the game, the officiating was horrific
English

Michigan was clearly the better team. They shot 38% from the field and 13% from 3 point range, got out rebounded, had fewer assists and still won the National Championship on their off day. #GOBlue
