Some people describe Phenibut acting as a nootropic for them that allows them to get more work done, if that is the case, you have some SERIOUS neuro-inflammation to take care of, like @Grimhood said. It's mainly a GABA-B agonist (can have some Dopaminergic properties in SOME cases) it agonizes all the GABA-B receptors, including the ones that reduce the Glutamergic projections of the mPFC towards Dopaminergic neurons in the Ventral Tegmental Area (VTA), responsible for motivation and eagerness to achieve. In very healthy people, Phenibut should 'sedate' you, and not actually function as a tool to get more work done. The reason that Phenibut likely makes some people productive is mostly because of how it calms Limbic brain regions such as the Amygdala, which reduce anxiety and overall stress. All in all it should be classified as a recreational drug, rather than a nootropic, which makes going out or socializing more fun by reducing social inhibitions.

@Lucky_Libruh @BasedBiohacker If it being a GABA agonist is such a bad thing, then why is baclofen which is a *much more* potent GABA-B prescribed? Just an atom or two from phenibut, as is pregabalin. They can all have the same severe consequences you state if misused, but still have valid use cases.

Testosterone is much safer, much healthier, and considerably more reasonable than any of the other drugs used for treating male depression.

want to know something that reduces connectivity and thus promotes being easily stressed? weed! besides decreasing your IQ, slower thinking and slower mental processing so next time your buddy asks you to smoke you better tell him you're onto better things

i find tirzepatide very dysphoric unless i spam caffeine to make motility faster and aggressively block serotonin receptors (metergoline and cyproheptine)
