Had a genuinely impressive session with @garrytan’s GStack. I use Claude heavily for 0 to 1 and 1 to n product ideation, but the structured flow of these simulated Office Hours was great. Free-form chat is great, but guided, rigorous pushback added to clarity.

ditto. i have stopped using Gemini entirely over the past three to five weeks. The lack of projects and a cloud co-work like feature does not help either. I am still keeping my subscription for some deep researches here and there, but overall my usage has fallen off of a cliff.

Gemini 3.1 Pro in @GeminiApp is so mediocre that I’m forced to work in AI Studio instead. In the app, it has nothing constructive to say about my work and just keeps telling me that everything I do is perfect, which makes it completely useless to me. In AI Studio, I get a real analysis of my strengths and weaknesses, and I can refine my work (which was the whole point). @joshwoodward 3.1 Pro is a terrible downgrade for paying subscribers. I would like the option to restore 3 Pro for paid accounts until we have access to something better.

79 minutes for a Claude research job — the longest I’ve seen yet. This was run via the standard chat interface, not via Co-work. Co-work appears to orchestrate sub-agents, but for comparable prompts it usually returns much faster. I’m still not sure whether it does live research, or answers without the same depth of research.

@Gubloinvestor Good decision. The quality that I get with Gemini is nowhere close to the quality that I get with Claude, especially Opus 4.6. Also, the lack of projects in Gemini is a real blocker for me personally.

@GergelyOrosz Why was there a dip in code being pushed in 2022 versus 2024?

@gregisenberg I've tried both extensively and Claude co-work nets out better output than Manus. Would be curious to know your thoughts and if you have tried other tools like Perplexity computer

@cyb3rops Yeah, we need an open web UI equivalent for the agent harness use case. Wait, that's openclaw!

Can anyone explain this to me? First Claude Workspace, then Perplexity, now Manus - they keep using words like “my”, “personal”, and “local” in a way that suggests local information isn’t being sent to a remote LLM or RAG system for evaluation. But if no local LLM is actually running, then almost nothing except maybe config stays local. The reasoning still happens remotely. Right? Also - does anyone really think this belongs on a corporate workstation?

Today, we're taking Manus out of the cloud and putting it on your desktop. Introducing My Computer, the core feature of the new Manus Desktop app. It’s your AI agent, now on your local machine.

@danfaggella He was saying "human" work is the longest role, not saying plumbers is where the value shifts. Almost everyone has taken his comments too literally.

My current stack is $200 /mo Claude Max - go to for everything $20 /mo ChatGPT - second opinion, 8/10 I go with Claude, or use ChatGPT's output to brainstorm better solution with Claude $20 for Gemini - use this the least. I like it's Deep research is unlimited, and use Notebook LM sometimes. Not having projects in Gemini is huge blocker for my $20 for Perplexity - use for Finance Other paid tools - Wispr, n8n

My current AI stack: • $200/mo Claude Max • $200/mo ChatGPT Pro • $200/mo Perplexity Max • $250/mo Google AI Ultra • $20/mo Grok (via X Premium+) ≈ $10.4K/year You definitely don’t need all of these. But most people should probably have at least one, even if it means cutting a few expensive coffees, drinks, or dinners. The leverage from cloud AI right now is incredible.
