@hailhailhistory Bridgeton Waverley FC - Barrowfield Park 1926-1936 (just off Fielden Street in Camlachie and to the east of Celtic Park), New Barrowfield Park 1936-1956 (FUTURE Celtic training ground).

Another example with a Celtic link is Barrowfield. This is the name of Celtic's training venue, recently upgraded. A Barrowfield Park was also Clyde's former ground, where in 1889 Celtic won their first trophy (North Eastern Cup). 4/10 #Celtic #CelticFC #AUCCEL

@Boola_vogue @jamiebhoy2009 His name is Peter Carruth. He was capped by the Scottish Junior League in 1933 against the Irish Free State at Dalymount Park in a 0-1 defeat.

@jamiebhoy2009 @sureitsza Great stuff, Jamie. Love it when another piece of the Celtic jigsaw falls into place. Wonder if the Carruth in that clip was any relation to Joe, who played with my local junior team the Peasie before joining Celtic a few years later.

Finally have a first name for the goalkeeper in this photo, thanks to @sureitsza and some great research from his friend Douglas Gorman. Peter Ewing had trials for Celtic reserves whilst with junior team Rothesay Royal Victoria in 1930 and again 3 years later. @jamiebhoy2009

@1920StRochsSC @StRochsJuniors On 7 March 1964, St Roch's defeated Strathclyde 11-0, goals coming from McKenzie (2), Slaven 3, Shiels (2), Cairney, Thomson, McGhee, McQuillan. Today was the third 10-0 win, previous two were 46-7 H v Hurlford, 56-7 H v Dennistoun W. In 20-1, Candy defeated Cartvale 10-1.

@Celticcurio On the same day, Celtic won the Hamilton Police Sports Day fives, In the final they defeated Larkhall Thistle 3-0. McMullen (Partick Thistle), Cormick, Livingston, Brown and P McMullen represented Celtic.

Got this at auction today 🤠 Not had a chance to research Ferncliffe FC and will assume they were a Junior Team in 1906 🤔 card says the ground was in Possilpark.
