SURFOLY presented its latest results at the European Biomass Conference in The Hague, showcasing circular solutions for olive by-products: from char production and polyphenol extraction to animal feed applications and business model optimization.

The round table focused on biochar potentialities, economics and use in feed-fields and was followed by an aperitif for stakeholders interaction. SALUTE!

Umbria Region President Stefania Proietti officially opened the event, highlighting the importance of synergy between agriculture and engineering at the core of Surfoly. Prof. Gianluca Rossi (University of Perugia) also expressed the faculty’s support for these joint initiatives

The SURFOLY Italian main event was held at the Agriumbria exhibition and fair in Bastia Umbria on Friday March 27th. The Italian members of Surfoly Consortium shared best practices and main results with famers and olive oil producers.
