Tough, tough day for the normally-great CBS broadcast. Worst Masters coverage in recent memory…soooo much Andrew Catalon, Nantz felt mia, IBF sorely missed, impactful shots of notable players nowhere to be found, total fail on the 72nd hole. Underwhelming, run-of-the mill feel

@JoeNicely I always look forward to the CBS Masters telecast because we just got through 6 weeks of NBC (did you see that shot Bones? Bones? Bones?). But this was awful and the slobbering and outright pulling for Rory was worse than NBC.

Team Rose bogeys 3 and they don’t show us a single shot. But sure, give us more Brian Harman on 16 and then another commercial.

At the Masters Immelmann says “that was a great shot” as Mclroy flies the green by 20 yards. “All due to the wind.” Keep the cheerleading going Trevor.

It’s obvious that @CBSSports cleaned house and fired many of the people responsible for putting on a high quality #Masters2026 production. The lack of coverage of key developments, the poor camera angles and the overall mediocre production are glaring today

The Masters is by far the third best major to watch and every year we forget that until the middle of the tournament. Bad on quality and quantity of broadcast

Wow #CBS watching this #Masters is like watching #NBC golf with commercials every 7 minutes. What happened to 4 minutes of commercials per HOUR?

Even when Cam Young has the shot at the #Masters they have to talk about how it relates to #Mclroy. #Nantz just slobbering over him every chance he gets.

30 minutes to #Mclroy tee time and #CBS already has their Rory rally caps on. Reminds me of when Olazabal won and all #Nantz could say was Chimi this and Chimi that for 4 hours.

#CBS announcers making it sound like a funeral as #McLlroy blows a 6 shot lead at the #Masters.

Now we get to listen #CBS gush over McLlroy at the #Masters for the next few days. Takes some of the joy out of it.

Afternoon announcers at the Masters are just awful. Unprepared and just reciting shot numbers, scores, and yardage. The streaming announcers on Masters.com run laps around them. Switching back.
