Feeling overwhelmed tonight by the enormity of what I’ve done. The book is being distributed - earlier than I thought, and I’m unprepared. I’m scared. I swing from ‘what have I done’ - to ‘maybe it will make a difference.’ Have I done the right thing? I know that I risk losing my family because I’ve ‘told’. Stories like mine tend to stay behind closed doors. Families often close ranks. No response from family yet. Have they read it? Have they even ordered it? I have no idea… Not sure what I’m trying to achieve by posting this- maybe just to acknowledge that it’s not straightforward for survivors of CSA to speak out. #TheFlyingChildStory #CSA
