🚨 ROAD SAFETY ALERT | Murchison Falls National Park Three people have tragically lost their lives and four others sustained injuries following a road crash on the night of 24th May 2026 at approximately 8:00 PM along the Arua–Kampala highway within Murchison Falls National Park, Nwoya District. A Toyota Hiace (UA 20121AA) carrying seven Uganda Revenue Authority officials struck a crossing elephant, causing the driver to lose control. Three occupants died on the spot. The injured, including the driver, received treatment at Kiryandongo Hospital before transferring to Kampala. Deceased have been conveyed to Anaka Hospital Mortuary.
