@ABotticus thank you!!! right now it's trigger-based, storing each interactable trigger you entered into a list and then getting one that matches your state i might change it in the future to use proximity as well if it ends up becoming a problem, but im trying to keep it simple for now!

@sutabuni The carrying objects mechanic looks so satisfying! And the cable length limit for plugs is a nice touch for realism. How are you handling the interaction system - is it trigger-based or proximity-based?

i know people won't really care about this but im proud of it! look at how pretty, clean and organized everything is!! just a tiny bit of cleanup left (mostly testing) and the post-jam refac is done! then, time to focus on further developing the game, excited!! #gamedev #unity6

changed up how magnets work to be more intuitive! now while holding LMB and aiming your magnet towards an object, you slowly pull it towards you, and if you let go early, you stop pulling plugs will also automatically connect to close-by sockets when they stop

...which was easily fixed by changing collision detection to continuous... im sure mag frustrated a lot of people due to this, im sorry!!!

mann it took me forever to understand why you could die jumping on top of bridges or plugs sometimes in mag, but apparently it was due to unity's gravity sometimes being so strong that it would cause the character to teleport inside the thing when falling...

still recovering from the very exhausting but fun gamejam! i think im decided on my next project though: ill be making a full version of mag! i think i can finish it in about a month and a half or two, but we'll see!
