Too much screen time delays learning for children.

Today I had the great pleasure of practicing TRACKS to annotate our thinking while reading a nonfiction text with some amazing 5th grade bulldogs. Lucky to work with these kids and their teachers 🍀🫰🏻@HumbleISD_FE @BeckyDBelcher

The @HumbleISD_FE Thanksgiving Feast tonight was SO DANG AWESOME 👏🏼 🦃❤️ Thank you to the 3rd graders for a great performance and to the KPark Culinary students for a delicious meal. Did we just start a new tradition, Bulldogs?!?

Thank you to the @HumbleISD_FDN for funding a mini grant that brought a fresh crop of mentor texts to @HumbleISD_FE 🥹❤️👏🏼 We are so excited to read these stories to analyze and emulate the craft moves of these authors. ✏️

@HumbleISD_FE teachers used the Talking Towers strategy for discourse to discuss the WHY behind small group instruction 👏🏼🎯 Can’t wait to see this strategy in action with our bulldogs!
