Y'all—WHERE can a person buy sugar cubes? I have been to three grocery stores and two bodegas with zero luck! Is this a more niche item than I realized??

@domesticetch Side note.. As a kid, I distinctly remember eating them like candy at restaurants. I was honestly shocked that they seemed impossible to find in the city now

@domesticetch Omg. I had to make them for an assignment once when I realized I needed them last minute. We looked everywhere in the city that day and ended up making them ourselves!! For this photo🙃

I love making large scale abstract paintings. Everything about the process is so different than my photography. They started when I was looking for new color palettes and I fell in love with making them when during a period when I was particularly busy with brand collaborations
