Sorry to ruin the cheery Christmas spirit with this, but as a discerning muslim- you should reject the term “moderate muslim” with all your might. Especially coming from this lot, it is nothing but a barely veiled insult to your faith.
Some of the Shafi'is believe that, If the wife has become accustomed to ''Smoking'' for enjoyment, it is obligatory for the husband to provide it for her as part of her right to maintenance.
So to appeal to Nigerians, you also have to be left leaning by default. You have to promise that government will do more. That subsidies will be there and that the people's welfare will be a priority. You will not get far by telling Nigerians that government will exit things.
I think RTW means something else in Nigeria
