Does any primary school still do that thing where the kids draw their own faces and then it gets printed on a tea-towel you can buy? Absolutely elite primary activity that was.

Sometimes we are too scared to make a decision in case it’s the wrong decision. But making no decision is still a decision and it may be the wrong one.

@tiana22xx I think it’s Keke Palmer. Look up her singing on YouTube. She was in UK for chicken shop date too.

You may never get closure, an explanation, or an apology. But we can learn from everything we experience and become wiser, kinder versions of ourselves in the process.

Something about British & Irish culture is that we can’t simply accept that the weather is just good, it always has to be contextualised with a boastful comparison: “Hotter than the Sahara today” “Sure it’s hotter than Ibiza here” etc etc
The Times and The Sunday Times@thetimes

It is time to get out those fans as the UK is expected to be hotter than the Sahara today, with the last of three consecutive baking days threatening the June record #Echobox=1655442165" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">thetimes.co.uk/article/heatwa…

@marksandspencer had a sneak peak at my eagerly anticipated beauty advent calendar and no12 is completely missing. What should I do? Really disappointed.

@TailormadeInsp Question is, those returning on 18th July from amber countries; do they need to still quarantine for 10 days or will quarantine end on the 19th?!

At the end of last week, the UK government confirmed that the 10-day quarantine requirement for fully vaccinated travellers returning from amber destinations would be removed as of the 19th of July! This is a fantastic boost for the travel industry! #MondayMotivation #Travel

@grantshapps If you arrive home from an amber country 4 days before it goes green do you still have to complete the full 10 days quarantine? I have not seen this clarified anywhere official.

From 4.00am Monday 19th July Bulgaria & Hong Kong will be added to the green list 🟢 and Croatia & Taiwan the green watchlist of destinations. Please check latest travel advice before you travel as countries and territories may have extra requirements before you get there.

@JohnGregory25 I’d like to know this too if you find out. So difficult to know who and where to ask this question.

@lottasaysno That is very frustrating for you. We arrive back from an amber country the day before the change. Seems crazy that we wouldn’t have to isolate a day later.
