@WasAcop I was injured on duty and medically retired to the scrap heap many years ago , I respected our late Queen who I swore allegiances to. This country is now a sh*t hole and will go further down the drain

Prime Minister. I served this country for 14 years protecting the Queen’s and King’s Peace. I saw firsthand the cover-ups of the grooming gangs investigations. I saw firsthand the increase in crimes that those brought into the country committed. I saw the town go from a hub of the community to vape shops and Turkish barbers whilst local businesses were forced out due to costs. I was permanently injured protecting the public. The injury destroyed my career and to this day has a severe impact on my life. And yet even though I’ve done what I can for this country, you label me a dissident and a far-right agitator for calling out issues the vast majority of the UK are saying. You are a disgrace. You go on TV day after day attacking the mythical far right. Fine, I’ll wear that badge. I’ll wear it with pride. Resign.
Keir Starmer@Keir_Starmer

I’ll always champion peaceful protest. But the Unite the Kingdom march organisers are peddling hatred and division. We’ve already blocked visas for far-right agitators who want to come here to spew their extremist views. They don't speak for the decent, fair, respectful Britain I know.

Yesterday's trial update. Warning, content is a tough read ⚠️ A baby who died after allegedly being subjected to sustained physical, emotional and sexual abuse was found to have a "human bite mark" on his bottom six weeks before his death, a court has heard. 15‑month‑old Preston Davey was carried into Blackpool Victoria Hospital in cardiac arrest at 6.20pm on July 27, 2023. Despite an hour‑long battle to revive him, he was pronounced dead at 7.20pm. His adoptive father, Jamie Varley, 37, stands accused of murdering the child, while his partner John McGowan‑Fazackerley, 32, is charged with causing or allowing Preston’s death. Both men deny the allegations, which also include multiple counts of child cruelty and sexual assault. On Wednesday (May 13), expert witness Dr Alison Armour told Preston Crown Court that the autopsy she carried out on the baby determined the cause of his death to be acute upper airways obstruction, caused by either smothering or an object being inserted into his mouth. The forensic Home Office pathologist, who has 39 years of experience in the field, added that the post-mortem revealed more than 40 separate internal and external injuries. The expert was also asked to review several videos and photographs taken from the defendants' mobile phones. One such photo, taken on June 12, 2023, showed the tot playing naked in a paddling pool in the back garden of their home on Staining Avenue, Preston. However, a close-up showed a round bruise, approximately one inch in diameter, on the little boy's right buttock. "It is my view that this most likely represents a human bite mark," Dr Armour said, referring to an unmarked area of skin in the middle of the circular mark. The jury heard a detailed account of the marks and injuries Dr Armour found during the post-mortem examination of Preston’s body. 'Fingertip bruises', indicative of f gripping, pinching or prodding, and a mark to his thigh consistent with a slap, were highlighted. As was internal bruising to the toddler's throat, described as "highly unusual" and most likely sustained within hours of Preston’s death. The pathologist ruled out the suggestion that the bruises were caused during resuscitation efforts as he did not have a heartbeat, and therefore would not have bruised, when he was intubated in hospital. Royal Preston Hospital staff were told that Preston had drowned in the bath, but Dr Armour confirmed she did not believe there was any evidence supporting this claim, as she failed to find water in Preston's stomach or lungs during examination to support the theory. She also ruled out any natural cause, infection or genetic condition. Instead, she pointed out multiple signs of asphyxiation to support her findings that Preston had suffocated. Mr Varley recorded a video at 4.45pm on the day Preston died, the court was told, showing the little boy "clearly very unwell", according to the pathologist. The video showed Preston unresponsive, and his breathing was half the rate that would be expected of a child his age. The baby had also suffered 'unnatural' injuries to his pelvic organs, Dr Armour concluded, likely inflicted within hours of his death. The post-mortem examination also found bruises to Preston's forehead, back of throat, mouth and bottom, as well as bleeding in the lungs. When asked to explain the bruising found, Varley responds with "no comment". It is alleged that the baby was routinely ill-treated, sexually abused, physically assaulted and had indecent images and videos taken of him. His cause of death was given as an upper airway obstruction, leading to his collapse by a deliberate act of smothering, or an object or objects inserted into his mouth. 1/2......

@InspGadgetBlogs Crikey - I'm glad I grew up in the 80s when everyone was called a spaz, gay, queer etc. Having read what she got sacked for it seems overkill to me, but then disciplinary panels are scared witless by today's standards. Get out when you can ;)

This is Matt Gration. He dedicated his life to saving other people ❤️ He volunteered with the RNLI, giving up his free time and putting his own life at risk, in order to save the lives of others. He was, in every sense of the word, a hero. Sadly, he died last week. He was one of four RNLI volunteers to pass away within a few days. All stations in the region will now have their flags at half-mast as a mark of respect. RIP Matt - and thank you for your service ❤️

This one is heartbreaking - read with caution, trigger warning ⚠️ A toddler was battered by his mother's boyfriend at a domestic abuse shelter The attack was so severe he suffered 'catastrophic brain damage' and eventually died from his injuries. Kol Page was brutally attacked by former Territorial Army soldier Scott O'Connor The authorities missed many possible opportunities to save Kol after his mother, Zoe Coutts, cancelled five home visits in the months before he was hospitalised in April 2022. Photographs later showed that the poor two-year-old had "significant bruising" on days he had been due to be seen at his home in Bromley, south London. O'Connor had ruthlessly beaten the child over several months, and the couple told family and friends that he was always “falling off things and bumping into things”. Coutts had cancelled planned visits from a Family Support Worker from Bexley Council in south London, on five occasions between November 2021 and March 2022. The continuous abuse culminated in the toddler being rushed to hospital on April 25 2022, when doctors found he had serious internal injuries. Kol was left with catastrophic brain damage and severe disabilities, meaning he needed round-the-clock care. O'Connor, who had a history of violence and drug abuse, had visited the family home 28 times in the month before Kol's death and stayed overnight on 16 occasions. This was despite it being a domestic abuse refuge that banned male visitors. The last time the family was seen by the authorities was on March 22, two days before Coutts moved to the supported housing in a neighbouring local authority area. A spokesperson for Bexley Council said Kol did not have an allocated social worker as "no safeguarding or child protection issues were noted at that time". The council stressed the family were being supported by an Early Help scheme, a voluntary service that parents cannot be forced to engage or accept help. A Met Police spokesman confirmed the family were not known to the force. Kol went on to spend 14 months in hospital before moving to live with a foster family. Two years later, on June 29, 2024, he died from his injuries aged four. The couple were cleared of murder last week at Southwark Crown Court. O'Connor was convicted of manslaughter while Coutts was found guilty of causing or allowing Kol's death. They are due to be sentenced in May. A report published in March, led by the National Police Chiefs' Council, found five victims of domestic abuse die every week on average with 1,012 abuse-related deaths in four years. There were 262 such homicides in England and Wales in the year to March 2024. Of these, 80 victims were killed by their partners, 31 by an adult family member. Sara Sharif, who was murdered at her family home in Woking, Surrey, was one of 11 children who died. Father Urfan Sharif, 43, was sentenced to serve at least 40 years in jail for her murder, while her step- mother Beinash Batool, 30, got a minimum term of 33 years. Sara's uncle Faisal Malik, 29, was sentenced to 16 years for causing or allowing her death. Sharif was previously arrested for domestic violence and threats to kill ex-partners. Ethan John, 11, and his sister Elizabeth, seven, were stabbed to death by their mother Veronique John, 50, of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs, during the period. She was deemed unfit to plead and was detained indefinitely.

Another tragic loss to the policing family. My thoughts remain with Logan's family, friends & colleagues. RIP Logan 💙 All at Avon and Somerset Police Federation were devastated over the off duty death of our colleague PC Logan Gartshore. Our thoughts remain with his family, friends and close colleagues and we continue to support them as best as we can. Logan - who had been a police officer for four years - will be remembered on the Yeovil and South Somerset teams as a popular colleague and he will be much missed. His family told SomersetLive: "Logan always made time for others, helping them in anyway he could, but couldn’t sadly ever help himself. "Logan was a very caring, kind, genuine person who was liked by so many people, with a wide circle of friends." Logan’s family and friends will be continuing to raise money in his name. This includes the efforts by Chandler Hallet for Andy’s Man Club, a men’s mental health charity. gofundme.com/f/in-memory-of… Officers and police staff members who are struggling should know that they are not alone, and that there are people there to help. This includes, for immediacy: Samaritans: call 116 123 and Oscar Kilo’s Mental Health Crisis Lines: call 0300 131 2789.

Folks now I’m old I can share more with you; at 25yrs I had a stunning blond 21yrs old on the firm together for 4yrs; we were about to move in together we would have had lovely kids But 2wks before that was planned when I was on duty I was Stabbed in the chest having only weeks before just recovered from another life changing assault 3yrs before; (3 ops in 3yrs) & I nearly died; thereafter I was Never the same man again & I Never will be; Do not think that crime doesn’t change a person as I promise you at times it can & does; I have an absolute passion for victims cos I am one of them; I have an absolute passion about the devastation about Knife Crime as it changed my life forever; it changes & devastates so many lives; I often deal daily with people whose lives are Broken as mine once was; when people are broken when young you have to rebuild your life; on my worst days back then I wished that the blade had gone the other way; it’s called PTSD; That’s the downside of how crime can affect a human being; the upside? It can give you the most formidable strength to campaign for what you believe in & want to try & prevent what happened to you from happening to someone else; and that’s the bloke you see posting here on X I know the dangers that police face & how they truly mist care tho I see today how disenfranchised the public & victims are with the police & that breaks my ❤️ however I will never apologise for standing up & defending the good hard working brave cops & we have many; on my darkest days my colleagues were there for me & stood by me & now I’m strong again I stand by them one thing about? I’m no fair weather friend! Victims & the law abiding public also have a friend in me; I’m not a conventional bloke I’m rough round the edges & I don’t do cuddles that’s why people buy teddy bears but for 37yrs I’ve always stood up for you & I was the first police officer to ever break from the ranks to warn the GOVT what was coming; they tried to sack me BUT? A THIRD of the British Police Service signed my Protect the Protectors Petition so the chiefs dare not sack me; I warned when a serving police officer of all the perfect storms in thousands of Media Interviews that were coming; sadly they were all ignored & the perfect storms hit us & we paid a high price our streets became lawless & police list the street thanks to the crippling cuts by Theresa May under David Cameron & the police Never regained them; I then warned of the Tsunami that was coming our way over the past 15yrs since retiring & again my warnings were ignored & hey Ho the Tsunami has hit us; we have a Knife Crime Epidemic Shoplifting Epidemic we are the Rape capitol of Europe; ASB out of control in just about every town & city in Britain & the thin blue line of the police has become the Invisible blue line; So Daily? I post on the most dreadful of crime even knowing that No One will act; I do that because HUNDREDS of homicide families (I’ve met over 2,000 of them hand on ❤️) said “Norman we don’t think anything will ever change but please keep speaking up & out as we need a voice’ I promised them would & I never break a promise! So there we have it at least you know why I do what I do; when I oust about the devastation of crime do I post & run away? Nah I stand by what I say & 37yrs on the National Media still think I’m relevant (I don’t as much now as I once did > but I promised) hence daily weekly I’m asked to do Interviews on policing & law & order & I now decline about 60/70% of them! How much do I care? I have just sold my home I’ve lived in for 46.yrs so I can buy a motorhome & travel Britain for 2yrs on the biggest law & order & crime prevention initiative that Britain has ever seen; IF the good lord gives me another 2yrs I will give the best I have left to continue to try z& make a difference & I want to leave you with an Independent organisation that is Independent & will give victims & public a strong caring voice! Thank You & God Bless🙏
Norman Brennan@NormanBrennan
