@BernieSanders Upper middle isn't rich but that's who bernie really wants to tax, but why?

NEW YORK CITY: I will be joining a rally on Sunday to demand that, at a time of record income and wealth inequality, corporations and the wealthiest people in this country start paying their fair share in taxes.
I hope you'll join us. dsa.nyc/BernieTTR

@USATODAY Contribution matters, but it’s just as important how it impacts society in the long term.

Opinion: What really matters is what the rich, like Elon Musk, contribute to society through their work. usatoday.com/story/opinion/…

@USATODAY The thing is, Elon never innovated anything useful. He innovates wealth exploitation, which is bad for the average person like YOU and ME.

SOCIALISM SURGE: Support for socialism within the United States hits an all-time high.
The latest Fox News poll finds a record 38% of American voters think it would be a good thing for the United States to move away from capitalism and toward socialism — that’s more than double the record low in 2010.
While younger Democrats and very liberal voters are the most eager to embrace socialism, a solid majority of Americans, led by Republicans and older voters, still say moving away from capitalism is a bad idea.

@Reuters No congressional authorization required. The War Powers Resolution of 1973 allows the President to commit U.S. forces to hostilities for up to 60 days—plus a 30-day withdrawal period—without prior congressional authorization, provided they report to Congress within 48 hours.

@Reuters To compel ID usage to access the internet. A loss of freedom for the illusion of safety.

The president did not declare war. Under Article II, Section 2 of the US constitution he does have some powers to engage when there are immediate threats. Questioning the legitimacy of the threats is a better angle. Was Iran really nearing weapons grade uranium enrichment?
