Parsnip LOVES her zoomie time and even enjoys the staff playing a game of chase with her. She likes to run after toys, but hasn't mastered the bringing back part. After some running about, Parsnip likes her cuddles and bum scratches with the staff. She walks very well on the lead and likes to get some sniffy time in on her walks. She did nothing ‘wrong’ at all - she had an upset stomach and was having accidents overnight because of this (she’s usually THE cleanest dog we’ve ever cared for, ironically!)… unfortunately our advice wasn’t taken on board, so Sansa is back to worse than ‘square 1’ as she’s back in kennels now and starting all over again Within 12 hours, she’s been totally clean and ‘solid’ again, but she’s understandably sad We DESPERATELY don’t want her to be ‘lost’ now and just ‘left on the shelf’ - she NEEDS to be in a home and not forgotten Sansa is an amazing, gentle, sweet, intelligent, sensitive and very loving 5 yr old Shepherd cross She loves people She is very ‘Shepherdy’ in her behaviours - she is very sensitive and easily overwhelmed by the big wide world because of this, she does need a capable and understanding owner to help her relax, as she is reactive to other dogs this IS very workable in time, but for now she isn’t a girl who could enjoy walks in busy local parks and trips to the pub … in time, maybe We know this is no easy task to find a middle aged Shepherd cross who is dog reactive the right home - she’s pretty much got everything against her in terms of ‘rehomability’, BUT, we will not give up on her… if there’s anyone out there who feels that they can give Sansa the 2nd chance she needs, PLEASE get in touch - she will repay you with SO much love and loyalty' - Helping Yorkshire Poundies Rescue DETAILS or APPLY👇 helpingyorkshirepoundies.co.uk/large/sansa/ #GermanShepherd #Sheffield #Rotherham #Leeds #Wakefield

A tiny dog was found "fly-tipped" in Bridgend with a heavily matted coat contaminated with faeces and nearly died. The shih tzu-type dog, who has since been affectionately named Patsy Pancake, was found on January 24 having been abandoned in the Coytrahen area, RSPCA Cymru has said. The poorly pooch, who is around 10 years old, was spotted by a passer-by next to a hedge and taken to safety before the RSCPA were called. It was "touch and go" whether she would survive but she has been nursed back to health and is currently being looked after by an RSPCA foster carer, the organisation said. It has now launched an appeal for information about the dog and her owner.
