Again...for those who AGAIN are telling me we are too late.... Old style Smiths fed a few days ago. Given a full feeder. Today empty and straw dry. Colonies heavy and not need attention till spring.

I feel like airline systems would be fascinating to try to rearchitect using modern tech. Complex, interesting, realtime problems – both from a distributed systems as well as a human-computer interaction perspective – and the existing systems really aren't up to scratch ✈️

Often they’ve tried out-wintering cattle on a field and it was a mud bath etc etc That’s not what this is - it’s the coming together of those elements in a skilled way Wish I’d been taught it as a kid - most pleasurable low stress farming I’ve ever done

Sheep will always be my favourite thing… but grazing cows properly in 12 hour cells on winter stockpile all winter is a close second Bloody love it

Of all the targeted phishing and scam emails I receive and see, the vast majority are sent and tracked from @SendGrid - clearly they have a problem.
