I’m from California. That’s where I’ve spent most of my life so far. Californians hate Gavin Newsom. The liberals.. the leftists and yes of course the conservatives. If he runs for president he will lose. Democrats need someone better if they want the left to align with them. Otherwise concede to the fact that we will never vote for a democrat at this point.

@Zoya_ki_batein My sister had a man GYN and he did a biopsy and IUD insertion separate with lots of pain for her. Twice the pain for her.
I have a woman GYN and she said when she inserts an IUD a piece of the cervix comes out any way and we can use that for the biopsy sample.

I just went to get an IUD consultation at a gynecologist and she goes, we can do it here, but just so you know, we don't numb. We won't numb your cervix here. And I go, why? And she goes, because the doctor at this clinic doesn't allow it. And I said who is that doctor? She pointed towards a male gynaecologist & said “dear even if I request it, he won't allow it”. And then i asked that male gynaecologist why he won't allow it, he told me because apparently, according to him, that's actually not even where the pain's coming from. So it doesn't even make sense to numb the cervix. i said its painful and he replied “its a part of being a woman”

When I got married, I went to the Social Security office and showed them my marriage license. They changed my name on my SS card.
I took that same marriage license to the DMV. They changed my name on my license.
What did it cost me? About $8. Easy.
I don't understand how some people aren't getting this.

Also, SSA already has all my documents because I presented them to change my name to begin with. It’s already on file

@sweet_bee47 @TacoforFive1 Like I said, I read it 3x and nowhere does it say you need anything but a Real ID and a birth certificate. Same as today. When I go to the DMV I have to bring w me both my marriage & my divorce certificates to show my legal "chain of custody" & name change. But I keep em handy.

Responsible people keep up with identification, etc.
When women marry and chafe their names, they typically up dare the Social Securty, life insurance, car insurance, health insurance, etc.
If they are not willing to keep stuff current then, don’t vote.
Elections are not flash mobs, they are predictable and on the calendar.

146M Americans do not have a passport BUT can apply for one if needed.
40M eligibile voters do not have access to their birth certificate BUT can go to their local health dept or contact vital and statics and obtain a copy.
69M women do not have a birth certificate that matches their married name... As it wouldn't unless their married name happened to be the same as their madien name. Birth certificates are facts about BIRTH.
The SAVE Act does not deny anyone of their right to vote. The SAVE Act is about election and voter integrity despite Democrats false narrative.

@GabsClark5 Great! Now take both of those are pay $80 to get a passport because you can’t use either of those documents with an ID. The bill does not allow supplemental docs. It’s birth certificate + ID. Not BC + ID+ Marriage License.

I got married in 1999.
And through the death of my husband, homelessness, and disability I still remember where all my paperwork is kept.

PASS THE SAVE ACT NOW! I was able to obtain an ID as a black, disabled, widowed, HOMELESS, mother of 5. I used my married name, in a wheelchair, rode the bus and I had to get my ID through General Delivery at the Post Office. But I got it. This was me in 2017. Shortly after we’d lost everything. Everything in this pic was given to me by people I’d met along the way. My wheelchair came from a free clinic. They gave it to me when they saw my sons carrying me on their backs because all the ligaments were torn in my knee. That purse was given to me by the stripper next door in the motel where we stayed. I was kind to her when she was struggling. Those sunglasses came from a bar tender who would see me roll past him in my wheelchair. I liked to sing karaoke at a casino across the street from the motel. Despite my circumstances, my life was manageable. It wasn’t great. But we were pushing through. So when someone says that there’s some reason to not pass the Save Act because it’s not fair, show them this tweet. I voted for President Trump in 2016 because when he said, “What the hell do you have to loose?” Because I was being evicted, car getting repossessed, and disabled with no health care. People like me are the ones who suffer when waste, fraud, and abuse are allowed to happen because of unsecured elections. PASS THE SAVE ACT NOW!

@Notwokenow Except supplemental documents in the verbiage of the bill are not allowed. Now a woman that has changed her name needs a passport or passport card to prove citizenship.
Also, SSA already has this information on file - Birth certificates, Marriage License, ect.

The SAVE Act doesn’t DENY anyone the right to vote.
It merely requires proof of citizenship and photo ID.
Things every American adult either have or have a way of attaining.
These are documents responsible adults should already have in their possession.

Here are the facts: the 7 states where 2/3 of Americans don't have a passport. All of them are red states: West Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Yes, that's your home state, Scott. Married women whose married names aren't on their birth docs would face extra hurdles. Just because you don't care, doesn't mean it isn't a real issue. It took 17 years for Real ID (with similar citizenship requirements in some states) to actually be implemented in the US. Do YOU think that's because Americans are "too dumb" to figure it out? Oh and BTW, according to the SAVE ACT, most Real IDs wouldn't count.
