@yewiedewie This is wrong. It's not that Founders don't like to sell, it's that they don't know how to. Marketing/sales is a skill. We're not built with it. So most founders don't take the time to learn and immerse themselves in it. That's why they hire/outsource to who can.

Michael, Nigeria is not a terrible country. We have the most energetic, entrepreneurial, and resilient people on earth. World-class talent in tech, arts, agriculture, and business. Fertile land, abundant minerals, and a youthful population that should be our greatest asset. What failed us is leadership: visionless, corrupt, and selfish elites who turned potential into poverty, turned opportunity into “Japa,” and turned hope into despair.

Now that we are adults… do you now understand why? 1. That uncle your parents tagged as a bad person because he smokes… do you now understand why he smokes? 2. That distant aunt you never hear from because she chose to stay away from the family… do you understand why? 3. Why your parents were always absent and sometimes hot-tempered? 4. Why your dad would tell you that if anyone asked of him, you should say he wasn’t around? 5. Do you understand why the relative you used to know didn’t marry early. 6. Why adults always say “manage it like that” even when it doesn’t make sense 7. Why everyone suddenly becomes a financial advisor when you start earning small money That saying when you mature. You will understand…Now do you understand? Welcome to adulthood. Doorway to hell. Add yours… let’s hear it 👇 Repost🥺.

@Chioma__Amadi Awwn love all these and more for you. But what exactly is "big girl house"? this trend has to actually stop, makes it look like we ain't capable or deserving of big things, cuz you don't see men say "big boy house" it's ridiculous. You rented an expensive house, that's on period!

@Themediamadam Then next time learn how to say things without sounding condescending. The initial tweet you made didn't sound like you were stating an observation and definitely didn't sound like you do refer them. The way we write things matters, so that people won't take it out of context

I did Appendicitis surgery last year and na phone torchlight dem use because they had just one white light inside the place. Not surgical lights o. Normal bulb. Mine was complicated because it was already about to burst and the surgeon needed to see inside my body well to find it without setting it off and this people used Android phone torchlight to do Operation. Till date I have not recovered from the trauma of that surgery. May Nigeria never happen to you o.

@Themediamadam This is so true. I see people post just text only posts or carousels and they get good engagements. I guess it's the quality of what you're saying that attracts quality people/jobs on LinkedIn.

One problem I had with showing up on LinkedIn was not having aesthetically pleasing pictures to attach to my posts. I saw others doing it and felt that was the best way until I went to check @TechnicalBben profile yesterday and saw that dude doesn’t even care about posting with pictures.😂 Na once I gather courage to begin show up there. I barely go out so I don’t have those cute pictures some people have. I don’t even have good studio pictures.😂 Oh chim!

2 days ago, I met a guy on a walk. We chatted briefly, I gave him my number, 30 mins later, he called to check if I’m home. Cute. Next day by 7am, I see this on WhatsApp: “I want you in my life for today, tomorrow & forever, I love you so much, good morning dear” 😭 Like, WHAT?!

@o_ofuni I read a few books written as far back as 1990s. And imagine my delight when I saw that dash? See these dashes have been used for a very very long time now. AI only made it more irritating lol. @o_ofuni

Do you think this person used ChatGPT to reply to my LinkedIn post? Does every comment with a dash automatically mean it’s AI-generated? Hmmm I’m curious…

PayPal thinks they’re smart reopening Nigeria. Nigerians survived without them. We lost foreign jobs and gigs for years because of their restrictions, so we adapted. We built alternatives. We moved on. Now they’ve checked Africa’s youth stats and realized how much money they left on the table. Too late mate we have moved on.

Guys update!!!!!! I got the job 🎉🎉🎉
Technical Ben@TechnicalBben

Hey @JayKayKenny, First off, congratulations on this new chapter. I’ve been a fan since the early ADE days, back when you were dropping skits that had all of us in Nigeria laughing like crazy. You’ve always had that natural comedic rhythm and it’s been inspiring watching the growth, the consistency, and now the international attention you’re getting. You deserve every bit of it, and honestly, there’s still so much more you can unlock. That’s why I’m reaching out. Something a lot of people in entertainment still overlook is how powerful a "newsletter" can be. Adekunle Gold does it well. It’s one of the smartest ways to build a real relationship with fans beyond the noise of social media. Right now, your page doesn’t have a pop-up or a simple email capture system, which means you’re leaving a lot of loyal supporters on the table. These are people who want to keep up with your journey, your shows, your moves, but there’s no direct channel to reach them without the algorithm blocking half of your posts. A newsletter solves that. You can keep your day-ones updated, share behind-the-scenes stories, announce your shows early, even send birthday wishes if you want. Everything becomes more personal and more controlled. It also boosts ticket sales, merch promotion and builds a strong core community around your work. The people laughing with you today can become the same people that fill rooms for you tomorrow. I would love to manage this for you. I’m a lifecycle marketer and an email marketing specialist, and setting this up is exactly my lane. From designing the signup experience to building automated welcome flows, birthday flows, show announcements, and fan engagement sequences, I can handle everything end-to-end. If you’re open to it, I’d love to jump on this with you. I believe your brand is entering a bigger stage, and this is the right time to create a direct fan pipeline that grows with you. Thank you for reading, and once again, congrats on your Canadian chapter. It’s only up from here. Hopefully you see this. 🤭 ChampagneKeni Benjamin.
