@Eliz040748 @celestialbe1ng @RobertKennedyJr For what? She chose to keep going to the doctor. Not just one - she doctor shopped and hopped. She chose to take the pills. No one forced her to take them. And in fact, she sought them out.

Two months before she killed her children with exercise bands, Lindsay Clancy told her prescriber she was unable to determine what was real. Disoriented, forgetful, confused, disconnected. They kept writing scripts. Here's what she reported and what they gave her, in order. Mid October 2022. A psychiatrist starts her on 25mg of Zoloft. Within days it's doubled to 50. She reports she hasn't slept in 48 hours. Racing thoughts. Worsening anxiety. 20 October. She reports heart palpitations and says her mental health is getting worse. They take her off the Zoloft and prescribe Ativan and Benadryl. 16 November. She goes to the ER with insomnia, anxiety and heart palpitations. She's sent home with trazodone. 20 November. Her mother in law rings a perinatal behavioural health programme. Lindsay tells them she's "very frustrated, scared" with extreme insomnia and racing thoughts. They prescribe Prozac. 24 November. She reports the Prozac is making her insomnia worse. So they add Ambien, Remeron and Klonopin. Three more on top. The very next day she tells the practitioner she's unable to determine what's real. Disoriented. Forgetful. Confused. Disconnected. Nobody stops. 28 November. She's getting three hours of sleep. Disoriented and scared. They prescribe Seroquel. Her husband testified last week that this is where "her big spiral started". 2 December. She reports she's suicidal and hearing things. Three days later she rings a crisis hotline asking to be admitted. She's told she doesn't meet the criteria. 6 December. She and Patrick go back to the practitioner together. He tells them she's far worse since starting the Seroquel. They increase the dose. 20 December. Back to the ER, suicidal. The next day she admits herself into a programme and is removed, because the doctor says she's just overmedicated and doesn't have a mental health issue. She admits herself to a different hospital. She's discharged with trazodone. 10 January. A psychiatrist prescribes Valium, then amitriptyline. On 24 January she reported hearing a male voice say: "This is your last chance. Kill the children so you can kill yourself." Her kids were 5, 3 and 8 months. 13 psychiatric drugs in four months. She reported it was getting worse at every single stage and every single time the answer was another drug. Not one person in that chain asked whether the treatment had become the illness. This was not a mysterious psychiatric event appearing out of nowhere. It was a progressive collapse of brain function under postpartum stress, extreme insomnia, autonomic overdrive and relentless pharmacological interference. The warning signs were explicit: racing thoughts, palpitations, worsening anxiety, disorientation, derealisation, suicidality and hallucinations. Yet every sign of deterioration was interpreted as a reason to add, switch or increase another drug. Psychiatry cannot keep pretending that SSRIs, benzodiazepines, antipsychotics, sedating antidepressants and hypnotics are inert tools with no capacity to induce activation, akathisia, paradoxical reactions, delirium, withdrawal states or psychosis. These outcomes are documented, and this is not the first case in which severe behavioural disintegration followed escalating psychiatric polypharmacy. The most disturbing fact is not that one clinician made one mistake but that an entire system repeatedly watched her lose contact with reality and still treated the worsening condition as proof that she needed more chemical suppression. At some point, the treatment became part of the disease. The establishment does not want that sentence said out loud, which is exactly why it needs to be said louder.

I am told that a “dress code” was administered at tonight’s Parent’s Back-to-School Night at this local elementary school, so every teacher (whether they wanted to or not) had to wear a t-shirt instead of their preferred professional attire to meet their student’s parents, due to the issue of needing to obscure the biological male transgender music teacher wearing a dress at school issue. (He wore a skirt with his t-shirt anyway). Seems to be ok to administer a dress code to hide a potential controversial issue from parents, but not ok for a typical school day in the presence of children? #ncpol wral.com/news/nccapitol…

@MargoinWNC I cannot believe I had to type "Did Roy Cooper imprison the elderly in nursing homes" into my web browser. Bravo. But you're lying, they could leave. The emergency declaration banned people from visiting and spreading the virus to them, which you said they did anyway.

I was a MAT team member in the 2020 election in North Carolina. For those of you that don’t know what a MAT team is, it is a bipartisan team that is selected by the County Board of Elections to go help disabled and elderly people who cannot come to the polls make their ballot choices. I was one of two people who was allowed to put on full PPE and go into nursing homes to help the residents vote. We would be in their room, helping residents voter as their loved ones were watching us through the window from the courtyard. They would be crying and holding their palms to the glass. It was the most heart wrenching experience of my life. I made it my mission to involve my entire county in making sure the residents were not forgotten. We bought their personal purchases, made blankets, bought entire themed event items, sent cards and even made sure they had penpals. Over the next 18 months, I watched many of them die of Covid being brought in from the staff, loneliness and isolation, and frankly, some just gave up. Never ever forget what Roy Cooper did to these families.

@BryanRAnderson He took the information from his masters and enforced those horrible decisions. He flew under the radar somehow but was one of the worst governors during that time. Zero leadership.

Asked how he’d handle COVID-19 pandemic differently in hindsight, Cooper says, “That was a tough time for everybody. What we did was took the information that we had at the time and made the very best decisions that we could at the time. I think we know a lot more today.” #ncpol

You locked down a whole state, closed small businesses, and forced parents to become childcare when they were essential workers. You’re the biggest fraud in politics.
Roy Cooper@RoyCooperNC

As I’ve spoken with North Carolinians across the state, folks have been open about their struggles. Rising grocery prices, surprise billing from a doctor’s visit, expensive child care. These struggles and the people affected by them are why I’m running for the US Senate.

@freezy_mark @EmmaHallK How many small businesses were forced to close for good because of him?! How many kids suffered from myocarditis from being coerced with “free” college for taking the covid shot? How many kids never graduated high school when he vetoed to reopen schools in 2021?!

@EmmaHallK A veto count isn’t a governing record. Roy Cooper signed bipartisan budgets that cut taxes, led NC through Florence, Michael and Helene, expanded Medicaid to 600,000+ people, and helped create 640,000 jobs as household incomes grew. Results—not slogans—improved lives across NC.
