I want to say that I am not canceling my subscription to the New York Times. It is still the paper of record, and a hugely important force. That is why its flaws, and its reporters and editors' failure to recognize or respond to them, to show any introspection, is so infuriating

It was a privilege to know @psuliberalarts alum Arn Hoffman who died last week. bit.ly/37DWwfR He was a kind and good man and a wonderful friend. He was also a leader in the college's development successes for 25 years. Condolences to his wife Bette and their family.
