Introducing TurboQuant: Our new compression algorithm that reduces LLM key-value cache memory by at least 6x and delivers up to 8x speedup, all with zero accuracy loss, redefining AI efficiency. Read the blog to learn how it achieves these results: goo.gle/4bsq2qI

explaining one AWS service a day like you're 5 day 35: ECR ECR = Elastic Container Registry. it stores your Docker images. that's it. you build a Docker image. push it to ECR. then ECS or EKS pulls it from there when deploying. think of it as a private Docker Hub inside your AWS account. it scans your images for security vulnerabilities too. genuinely useful. biggest mistake: using public Docker Hub for production images. slower pulls, rate limits, security concerns. the simple fix: push images to ECR. enable image scanning. set lifecycle policies so old images get cleaned up. not exciting but necessary if you're running containers, B tier. where are you storing your Docker images? 👇 bookmark this so you don't forget and stay followed for day 36.

some things i've learned building Autolake: > if your data lake takes 18 months to set up, something is fundamentally wrong with the approach > governance can't be an afterthought. > by the time you bolt it on later, you already have a swamp > the best infrastructure is the kind nobody thinks about. if your team is stuck in a long data lake project or drowning in maintenance, i'd genuinely love to hear about your setup. dms always open!

the most underused S3 feature: S3 Intelligent-Tiering. it automatically moves objects between access tiers based on usage patterns. frequent → infrequent → archive. no retrieval fees. no minimum storage duration. for a data lake where you're storing historical data you rarely query, this is free money. most teams manually set lifecycle policies and either move stuff too aggressively (then pay retrieval fees) or too conservatively (then overpay on storage). intelligent-tiering just handles it. and somehow almost nobody uses it.

This architecture will be a game changer
Nishkarsh@contextkingceo

We've raised $6.5M to kill vector databases. Every system today retrieves context the same way: vector search that stores everything as flat embeddings and returns whatever "feels" closest. Similar, sure. Relevant? Almost never. Embeddings can’t tell a Q3 renewal clause from a Q1 termination notice if the language is close enough. A friend of mine asked his AI about a contract last week, and it returned a detailed, perfectly crafted answer pulled from a completely different client’s file. Once you’re dealing with 10M+ documents, these mix-ups happen all the time. VectorDB accuracy goes to shit. We built @hydra_db for exactly this. HydraDB builds an ontology-first context graph over your data, maps relationships between entities, understands the 'why' behind documents, and tracks how information evolves over time. So when you ask about 'Apple,' it knows you mean the company you're serving as a customer. Not the fruit. Even when a vector DB's similarity score says 0.94. More below ⬇️
