What the Klan once did at night, #ICE now does in broad daylight, harassing, brutalizing, and now murdering with the blessing of the federal government. This is not law enforcement… this is occupation. #KeithPorter, #ReneeGood, now #AlexJeffreyPretti, U.S. citizens, gunned down on the streets by federal immigration agents unleashed by this administration. Another body in the street. Another family shattered. ICE has become a rogue militia in our cities, a militant force wreaking terror in communities, tearing at the fabric of our civil rights, and sanctified by a White House that answers to no justice. Donald Trump is the Grand Wizard of this rogue force, who by statute they do not have the authority to stop, detain, command, or terrorize U.S. citizens. They claim authority they do not possess: to detain, to patrol, to harass and now to kill without accountability. This unchecked violence against human beings, Black, white, immigrant and citizen alike, cannot be justified and should not go unchecked. Why do they do it? Because fascism always ignores the law once it feels protected. And this administration has told them, Go ahead. Congress, where are you? Christians, where are you? There is no middle ground with evil. Any so-called Christian who defends this brutality, whether out of fear, political allegiance, or willful ignorance, is not standing with the Gospel. You are not “pro-life.” You are pro-power. You are not following Jesus — you are following Pharaoh. You are not disciples, you are collaborators. Conspirators with wickedness. Chaplains for state-sanctioned violence. So if you’re cheering this on, you’re not on God’s side, you’re on the side of wickedness, terror, and bloodshed. We will not be silent. We will not normalize this. We will not bow to a badge soaked in injustice. We call this what it is: terror in American streets, sanctioned by a president who has turned law into lawlessness. We will not bow. We will demand justice. And we will rise for every soul terrorized by this modern-day terror apparatus.

MLK Jr.’s legacy reminds us that America’s promise has never been self-executing — it demands courage and moral clarity. Honoring Dr. King today means fighting to expand opportunity, protect democracy, and ensure that freedom and fairness belong to everyone.
