@lzsthw I’m not a fan of JIRA either, but work in regulated areas require you to document and prove everything. If not jira we end up going back to word docs which makes everyone’s life even more miserable.

You know what's wild about this video? I'm explaining how Jira is hated by people because it enables bad product managers. This is user feedback. Many, _many_ other users of Jira (programmers) agree with me. Product managers--who's job is listening to users feedback--are in the comments with "STFU and get back to work coder!" Simultaneously proving that they're bad at their job and that I'm right that they only like it because it gives them power. Not to mention the weird illiteracy. Is product management some weird job where illiterate failed programmers go to rent seek off other people's work through Jira tickets?

@dakuwithchaku Interested in knowing about the vanity numbers. Was always into getting those 1234 or 9988776655 sort of numbers.

I worked briefly with Airtel. I also was once responsible for getting their systems down for 12+ hrs across states + also found hack to get vanity nos for free etc. Thats the story for another day. So this coupons had unique numbers for recharge. I had multiple hawala firms which wanted my lobby to not throw away the used recharge vouchers but keep them and they would collect it. They actually used it for hawala transactions. So the customer was given this used coupon and had to show or give the number to get their payment from the other hawala. The system worked flawless + was robust as the numbers couldn't be recreated etc. Later on we also had coal mine truck association take this used coupons for their truck filling allocation which happend with draw system daily and was highly manipulated.

I keep hearing that we are in an AI bubble and it will pop soon. Unlike web3, NFT, and other crap from the last few years, I don't think that's the case here. The efficiency gains are impressive. And AI will fundamentally change many things. Do you think we are in an AI bubble?

I’ve gotta click the new < Back icon at the top now. And I have to stretch my thumbs all the way to the top or switch hands just to go back. Having the ability to go back at the bottom perfect in the call app.

The most annoying of all so far, in the call app, the screen doesn’t move back to the previous screen when you press the icons at the bottom. (Favourite, recents, contacts, keypad) pressing this icon would take you back to the previous screen, in the new unified view it doesn’t.

IOS26 updates some of the Apple default apps and I’m not liking all th changes. The new unified view in Call app, hate that I have to click that small phone icon to call a person and not the whole row.

@tanmays 16 pro max beaten to death, total random charge cycles, drops to 5% most of the time before plugged in. Still at 96%, I think it’s done its job well. Almost always charge once a day.

1 year old iPhone 16 at 93% health. Rarely charged it above 85%. Cashify people told me there’s a ₹3k drop in value below 95%. What’s your battery health at?

@9_6 Right, that and tires that are rock solid. I almost doze off every race, it’s usually at 6 AM for me. Unless someone crashes or it rains, the races are extremely boring. 2026 can’t come faster, if it’s going to be the same, time for a new pass time.

@sycorax666 Things have gotten stale and not as exciting - can’t pull a move on anyone without getting penalized, takes away the fight.

Is it just me or all f1 races except rain filled ones have been boring. Yes the mclarens are faster but man no overtakes, remove the commentary and it’s just cars going on a parade. Might as well finish race in qualifying or do some ai simulation after quali and give trophy. 🏆
