Were you never a kid who liked something cause it just seemed cool to you? As a kid, just knowing I had a rare Pokémon that looked cool on the summary screen was all I needed and cared about

@symphinx @YamiryuNoKage @Fleechiru Sure, i can understand that, but arguing that its a good thing the pokemon was designed to be obtusely bad with it's 95/35 attack stats is odd. Someone on development clearly wanted it to be at least ok, and it is past gen 4, so its kind of a bummer it isnt i gen 2

@YellowPikmin23 @YamiryuNoKage @Fleechiru My point about Sneasel is that its role in GSC is as a collector’s prize for finishing the game and seeking out completing the Pokédex, so it’s okay if its battle potential is non existent.

@symphinx @YamiryuNoKage @Fleechiru sure, but tyranitar has these things and solid stats, and is a beloved pokemon. I don't really understand what you're arguing here, i dont think sneasel being bad in gen 2 is a major game design issue, but i wish it was better.

It’s just fine to have a trash-in-battle Pokémon hidden away deep in the post game. Made you the coolest kid on the playground just having one.
